What the Dupatta should really cover ….

A lot of girls cover their heads during the Azan with a dupatta, but I don’t know if that is a cultural thing or a religious requirement. They only cover a portion of their heads though. It looks like they are only trying to cover the back of their head! Some girls wear the dupatta on their head habitually, but again, they reveal more hair than they conceal. The dupatta looks like it will slide off any second!

I think the dupatta was generally designed to be worn to cover the…ahem, but a lot of girls wear it around their necks. It has turned into a fashion accessory rather than a requirement. For others, it is purely cultural.

Even while covering the head during the Azan, the dupatta must still be covering the…you know what. Some women cover their head during the Azan in a manner where they end up revealing what really needs to be covered.

With so much media chanting religion if the women still want to stick to such mannerisms I think they should be left alone lest there’s a punishment!?! These days it willbe difficult to carry that out due to non compliance with Islamic code of female dressing.

i am sorry to say that we people forget about our sisters and mothers before saying bad things about the women.
Our ALLAH told us that the woman is a thing to hide not to show off. so we have to follow that and if someone is not following this, he or she has no right to talk against it. May ALLAH blessed him or her.
and the other thing about Talibaan. Dont blame talibaan or say bad things about them, the real talibaans are the blessing of GOD in this region.
May ALLAH blessed the grave of Martyred Gen. Zia-ul-Haq the founder of Talibaan…………………..
and the final thing is that…….. the women have to know that our Islam allow the women to make beauties in front of her husband not for other men.
    Please donot use bad language…

Oh please James. We dress for ourselves. I don’t wear the colour taupe because it’s IN this season, (in fact i don’t wear it at all). Some women like to follow fashion, but I’d say only very few would waste their money on following fashions they actively disliked just to make themselves look better to other women. But yes, we often dress for our loved ones.

I’ll let you all into a secret. Women LIKE looking nice. It’s good to look in a mirror and go ‘Yeah, this REALLY suits me’ and grin. We like it better when our partner’s come in and say ‘Wow, you look lovely in that’. That’s two birds with one stone that is 🙂

But c’mon… you’ve got to stop thinking that looking at a woman and thinking she looks nice is awful. It’s not. She’d really appreciate it too, if she knew. What is wrong is looking at a woman and thinking, wow, I want to rape her. Shakir’s right – looking at women’s bodies is not unhealthy. Nor is masturbation. If you do it, you realise that really, it’s not a big deal and you move on to other more important things.

Ha-ha! There was a guy arrested recently in South Carolina for repeatedly molesting a mare. The mare did not press charges, the woman who owned her did. Jealous, maybe. I think they charged him with “public indecency.” (Yes, wild as we are, we have rules, too!)

I believe that, too, that women dress more for each other out of “fashion,” somehow mysteriously established within their own female pecking order, rather than to please men, unless it is for the one particular man whom they love, like a husband or boyfriend, or some oaf that they simply can’t fight, like a talebander.

Yoo Shoo: Taliban are not the kind of people who masturbate, they can satisfy themselves with boys, goats and each other!

Taleban became retarded due to excessive masturbation, as they keep away from women. Maybe they heard Shakir tell them how healthy it is.

in Pakistan dupatta is simply the fashion. They are colourful and look nice.

we arent a wahhaby country……Pakistani women dont wear it to “ward off men” they do it for themselves and only themselves

and rather than always pointing finger at the women, why doesnt society stop being so sexist — and look at the real problem

p.s. when nobody is looking at them, the “taleban” are the ones looking at porn, thinking obcessively about women, and engaging in all things that they themselves chastize

    BLOODY hypocrites!
