PML-N VS MQM – Who Says Our Politicians Are Mature?

The best entertainment one can find these days while watching prime time telecast is simply to watch how the representatives from both parties do their best to declare each other the biggest “liar”. I must admit that neither the Daily Show hosted by John Stewart or any other programme can produce an entertainment than the one produced by both the parties. MQM, no reason to doubt, has always found a way to remain in the news in one form or the other. It has been crowned as the only party which has evolved without becoming an opposition or moving out of a specific geographical surrounding.

Where the entire nation geared up for a Long March to restore CJ, they found ample time to go for a self declared long march without any goal in mind. They can have 42 innocent people killed right in their domain and still one finds them complaining that in fact it was a conspiracy against them. What governance.

Now when it is clear that the wind is all out to set Musharraf on trial, they have found a new note, with the only difference that it is based on an episode nearly 17 years old. A liberal party by manifesto (though one must refer to Imran Khan for their definition), God knows what has occupied their mind this time around. It was PPP and MQM who have secured maximum out of the spirit of reconciliation(NRO) and they are vocal every time to declare that we are moving in a new direction, but still one finds them opening up files which were locked many years back.

To PML-N I don’t have words of appreciation, although of a different kind. Its leadership, precisely Mr. Nawaz has in the name of friendly opposition destroyed the whole credibility of an institution called the parliament. One cannot find an example like this where evil is protected today for the betterment of tomorrow. After every accord he has landed himself in trouble, only to stand up and gear up for another accord. The position in which he has found himself, it is required that he must play a role seen in the past from Nawabzada Nasrullah but unfortunately this is not the case. Where it is a known fact that this will help neither of them, they have dragged many controversial entities into the whole drama. One watches every day how former spy masters are revealing facts (who knows true or false) and on its bases our politicians our deriving new policies.

For so long the political forces in Pakistan have cried that the only root cause for the failure of democracy is the invisible hand of establishment and today from Raiwind to London they are fighting on the claims made by the same power. So shameful, in the end it really hurts every Pakistani when they see their capital turning into a US colony of 7000 marines, flour and sugar not accessible even in Ramadan, an uncertain future with no economical prosperity, an unseen presence of Taliban still haunting, But our political gurus out there to settle the scores from the past. Undoubtedly the vacuum of leadership has damaged us more than any thing else.

personally i dnt have any grudge an the original text is also not meant for there opposition,, bt ofcourse when one digs deep things come out along with mud…………….every one’s idea is respected and your choice is more than welcomed……..
in terms they have done alot for karachi…..well that must be a feather in their cap……………..bt we have 2 see karachi in context with its neighbouring ports of Hong Kong, Dubai e.t.c and one must say our internal collosions have deprieved the city of that aspect………….lets hope it goes as you c Mr Lakhani!

Just a thought: Do you think Pakistan may be too diversified to arrive at a strong nationalistic consensus? Look at the language issues in the “Question of Our Identity” article.

I didn’t want to comment on this topic, but I’m amazed at the hatred displayed by the participants in this debate for each other. Just for the record, I never voted for the MQM, but in the last elections I would have if I had been in Karachi at the time. Let me tell you that there may be corruption in MQM (like in all parties), but at least this party is sensitive to the feelings of its voters (who are very literate, compared to the rest of the country). Even though (like the PPP, the PTI, the PML-N and others) it is dominated by one man, this party has turned Karachi into a great city during its last tenure.

even for an evolution the foundation will be the same that we have built upon for the last 62 years…………….this gas chamber treatment should be left to the NAZIS for the time being

a challenge from a petty liar like you…………….instead i will make sure that of shame and ur pathetic wisdom u will meet d end of ur dammit scholarly career………..
for a blind like you it was CJ who broke the carbon tax myth…………..nd it was ur partner coalation which brought the ordinance…………i hope you would have read some book of common sense instead of suicidal tendencies………regarding sugar crisis it has already been settled if you have seen………..the judiciary has passed the verdict…………..but ofcourse our executive like that of Karachi on may 12 will keep on crying that we have no control or we atleast were wearing bangles when the fire was raging…………
nd as we say this notices have been served to Mr Watoo,, chief secretary and others for the contempt of court……….
nd yep i know who owns the sugar mills nd so i know how they have the fortune…………what about that leadership which has no trace of incomings and outgoings?
    ………….
    regarding your challenge
    “first deserve and than desire””
grow upto a level where atleast you get counted…………commentrator salahuddin? well rise to the level first………….for ur 1st assignment write an essay on MY BEST FRIEND,,,,,,,,,,hope you learn quickly

shame on your thinking…. shame on ur wording…
from your every word , hate , bias , prejudice & jaleousy is evident …. well …. every one reading your comments can easily under stand how partial & biased you are towards urdu speaking segment… people like you actualy pushed all urdu speaking people to join MQM by showing your biased & partial bahaviour… well … my comments are now for other readers to decide who ia at at wrong… if every thing bad happening in pakistan bacause of karachi then why dont you give independence to karachi ? is sugar mafia only in karachi ? every one knows who are sugar mills owners & whom they belong to ? east pakistan got independence because of shame full attitude & behaviour of biased people like you & now they are getting strong & stronger … every one knows their money value is now more strong then pakistan .. because thay are one nation … they dont have munafiq people like you…., well for your CJ…
i challenge that CJ of nawaz shareef , iftikhar choudry will not take any action against sugar mills mafia because he has taken bribery from mill owners. same like he took bribery in petrol prices case in which he rejected an application against raised prices of petrols saying he has NO authority to control prices. if so , then why he abolished carbon tax ? when he can abolish carbon tax , then why he can not abolish developement levvy tax to releif general public… the secret behind this is that he took bribery from government & same he is going to do in sugar mills case… so this is my challenge to majid that if CJ of nawaz shareef gives severe punishment to sugar mills owners regardless of their political affiliation , i will hang myself in front of SC building & if not then majid will stop writing samable articles & blogs . readers of this blog are witness of this challenge … so majid do you accept my challenge ? i am sure you will not … because you are a liar…. racist… facist….poet has said right for shamable people like you……
SHARAM TUM KO MAGAR NAHIN AATI….

2ndly the sugar nd wheat………….CJ is not quaid…….being human its our mistake that we take advantage of someone’s necessity………..who knows some mafia group has stored it in Karachi?
nd regarding ur seats……….well sounds more pathetic than fazalur rehman performance……….we thought u had some share………….nd dat ajk seat……….i heard your guy lost his listening pewer after a slap inside the session…………nd like always u forgave after getting the share in government…………this shows your unity……….great going……..

and one open thought provoking invitation to every one reading this post…
sugar & floor crisis sre at its full peak . sugar mills owners are looting public of pakistan . what CJ supreme court is doing against him who was restored after general public accompanied him. public has lot many hopes with him but why he is not taking actions againt sugar mill owners ?
why he is not taking actions to releif publib at large who was declared maseeha before. i think every one reading this post is educated & matured and he know the answer.
because most of the sugar mills are honored by shareef badmaash family …. so in this game between public & shareef badmaash , our CJ is with sugar mill owners. he is really a maseeha .

    @ majid.
i thank god that i took part & have share against this cruel fuedal system & i dont care the fatwas of abu jahal & his followers.
second one haq parast MQM has its offices across pakistan .
for the memory of abu jahal …. 2 seats in azad kashnir assembly , two MNA from hyderabad , one MNA from mirpure khas sindh, one MPA from sukkur sindh, one MPA from nawabshah sindh, one town nazim at Rahim yaar khan punjab, one distt Nazim each at Hyderabd , mirpurkhas , Nawabshah & sukkur , these all cities belong to interior sindh.
so these figures are a real slap on the filthy cheeks of abu-jahal & his followers . haq parast never stop , they will continue to march with unity … we know how to tackle abu jahal .
