RIP Arfa Karim, Daughter of Pakistan and Youngest MCP of the World

Every child is born as a bliss to the parents but some are blissful for nations. Such a shining star was the angel Arfa Karim Randhawa for Pakistan, who passes away today in Lahore. The youngest MCP, Arfa has suffered brain damage, leaving her in a coma at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Lahore since last month.

She made all of us proud with her achievement at such young age of 9 years after becoming world’s youngest Microsoft certified professional MCP in 2004. Her accomplishments during the life span of just 16 years are truly inspirational for youth of Pakistan. She was studying A Levels at the Lahore Grammar School currently.

She received the Fatima Jinnah Gold Medal in the field of science and technology in 2005, besides the Salaam Pakistan Youth Award and President’s Award for Pride of Performance. Her funeral will be held at Cavalry Ground Lahore Tomorrow.

Arfa Karim! You’ll always be remembered by millions. May her soul rest in peace.
