How to reprogram your subconscious and clear misconceptions

The brain of a human being is a very powerful weapon. The sharper you make it, the sharper it gets just like a blade and if you don’t use it or sharp it, you’ll get it rusted.

Now, Imagine or consider yourself as a student, who studies in a class with the same bunch of students, and spends the whole day studying after school but being unable to score.

Let’s understand why? and how to overcome it? The reason why this happens is basically, you’ve in your subconscious mind that “you cannot do it” or “no matter how much i study i can’t do it”. The reason why this is there, is because you’ve programed yourself like this since childhood , keeping in your subconscious mind that you’re “dumb” .

For Instance, tell me if a memory storage device is programmed and built as a 512 MB you cannot store more than it, but luckily we’re humans we change our programming as we’re “The best of living things”.

How to reprogram your subconscious:

  1. Emotional impact; like Rejection or Discouragement
  2. Constant Repetition; like 10 to 12 times a day that “I am so happy and grateful now that …………………….”  loud enough that your ears hear. For example: “I am so happy and grateful now that i am a Pilot” You believe that you’ve done it, then your conscious mind thinks its easy to do it because your subconscious mind believe that its done .

You see athletes on TV saying we used to do 100 reps of this exercise  and this then that and you be like Woah! is it hard? and they are like “No, It’s easy”  because their subconscious mind believes that they can do it, and yours does not.

See the point of view of a normal Student or approach towards things: Studies and estimate he’ll score good. Scores 65- 70%

See the point of view of a dumb Student or approach towards things: Studies and estimates that he’ll score bad. Scores 40%

See the point of view of a Extraordinary Student or approach towards things: Didn’t start studying believes everything is easy and can do it. Scores 90%

If you don’t believe in yourself and even if you do the hard work there is NO USE, Believe in yourself and get your stuff done. Remember, we set our own understanding of the word “Impossible”.

It is imperative that students think positively, and emphasis must be laid on its implementation. However, I have a hard time agreeing with the gist of the article, which overvalues positive thinking to the point of overshadowing the indispensable need to work hard.

At the end of the day, it boils down to the endeavour of parents, and how much interest they take in their child’s education. The majority of parents think that their responsibility starts from dropping their children to school, and ends after picking them up in the afternoon.

Parents who are not engrossed in their children’s education are as culpable as the students who do not secure high percentages in their exams.
