Pak Suzuki Motor has been spewing out vehicles in Pakistan for almost 25 years now. This post speaks out on the behalf of those people who are the victim of low quality production and highly un-user friendly approach of this plant.

The end-product a customer gets from this plant after a painfully lengthy period is simple a heap of bland garbage. For instance I recently got my Mehran Suzuki Car from a local dealer in Rawalpindi almost 2 months ago and still hasn’t been able to experience the smooth functioning of vehicle. There were many manufacturing faults in it from the outset. Major manufacturing faults were faulty hand brake, loose doors, substandard rubbers, dried up bushes, ill-fitted window glasses. The Rs. 350000+ vehicle hadn’t even got simple cheap things like mud flaps, seat covers, and other small things. Automobile mechanics themselves advice that one has to replace many parts of a new vehicle in order to get some sort of relief.

This state of affair is absolutely unacceptable. If you share the pain, frustration and humiliation, then please join hands to protest against this high-handedness of Pak Suzuki Motors Company by signing the following petition:

    if i will make the minister in future i will do fisrt arrest to owner of Suzuki motors and will beat with the low quality shoes as they are giving low quality in cars.

    Finally gays this is truth that Suzuki company is a most profitable company in Pakistan becuse they are selling the cars on 75% profit
    i mean which car has cost on Rs-200,000 they are selling on Rs-600,000.
    but the danger thing is this that they are not responsible for any death or and injury due to a lot of manufacturing faults in cars.

    Do you believe that mahran is in Rs-600,000/=
    And the major thing is this that Bolan across Rs-700,000

    its really a joke with customers.

    To all dear Suzuki-cars owners/colleagues on Facebook…..

    The world most re known motor company BMW has called back
    1300000 cars back form roads all over the world for manufacturing
    defects, giving its customers a great opportunity to get compensations
    where as Pak suzuki is sucking blood of its customers in no law and
    order and regulation state and country the Pakistan.

    With and under conspiracies of Pak Suzuki company with establishment
    division and bureaucrats monopoly, is accumulating Pakistani
    community wealth by providing/selling its poor class, full of
    manufacturing defects.
    We now must stand up and fight this corrupt company for our rights in
    courts of law and orders.

    Strange; the same Japanese company in japan is honest to its clients,
    but has indulged itself into corruption with corrupt mafia supports.

    The quality of Suzuki Cars is very bad. There are designing defects that cause accidents and losses to users. I have used all these cars and am writing from personal experience. For example:

    a) In the Suzuki Mehran the Rear View Mirrors are a joke. I guarantee that none of the users has ever had a proper visibility of the traffic on their right and left because the mirrors can never be adjusted properly. In cities like Karachi and Lahore where there is haphazard traffic, motorcyclists crossing you from the left all the time, there is always a fear of accident.

    b) Suzuki Cultus: There is always one problem or another with the CNG and petrol conversion system. Funny thing is that my car takes a big jerk when in the 5th forward gear at 120 kph on the motorway. I showed it to all the Suzuki Company owned workshops in Lahore and Islamabad. They redo the software but can not eliminate the problem. The car vibrates so bad even when parked. Their mechanics say that the car will continue shaking even if engine mounts, distributor cables, plugs and point etc. are perfectly alright. Deisning Defect.

    Just check beneath your driver’s and front passenger seats. The seat base is so sharp and roughly made that my children have injured their hands several times when picking things they accidentally dropped under the seat.

    May God Bless Pakistan. There is no one from the Government to ensure quality of cars. Pakistan has a excessive population. A few deaths do not make much difference! Even the Japanese who are known for their morals have become corrupt when they came to this beloved country of ours!

    History of Accidents; met because of failures in control of motion due to;
    Skating/repeated breaks failures and failure in car motion to control

    1. September/October 2005; Parked for repair at Awan Motors, I-9 Industrial Area Islamabad, authorized dealers of Pak-Suzuki Co (under insurance scheme).

    2. February March 2006; Parked 2nd time for repair at Awan Motors, I-9, Industrial Area Islamabad, authorized dealers of Pak-Suzuki Co (under insurance scheme).

    3. February/March 2009; Parked 3rd time for repair at Baber Motors, I-10/3 Islamabad, at Pvt. Workshop (Not under insurance scheme). I had to pay for damages-repairs of other Suzuki taxi car hit by me form his/its rear.

    4. May-June 2011; Parked 4th time for repair at Shah Motors, I-10 Markaz Islamabad, at Pvt. Workshop (Not under insurance scheme). Also paid other car Suzuki taxi repair charges

    5. Troubles in faulty in Engine-Coil system; Uncontrolled Blasting,/Missing/giving jerks, tearing air filters,

    Dear Respected Sir,
    With most due regards, I once again approach the authorities of Pak-Suzuki Motor company for registration of my complaints for timely your actions to facilitate me for damages that I faced because of company manufacturing faults on Beleeno Cars running on road, which must would have not run, because of constant threats to the life and risk for others on roads.

    It is evidence based in the light of facts and figures truth, that the Beleeno-Cars imported/local manufactured till 2004 were free of mechanical defects, technical faults and manufacture errors in brakes and engine blasting. Based on its qualities, I preferred to select and buy Beleeno mark car of Suzuki fleet of cars, to much costly for Rs. 1070000 form Askari lease, very soon getting my self out of lease financial tortures by May 2007.

    I received heavy damage of my precious time, financial and physical loss because of my car technical faults and errors. It not only damaged me, but at times I have to pay other car drivers by hitting their cars on roads at their rears. It always happened due to failure in controlling motion of my car even at slow speed of 50-55 km/hour.

    I am 59 a senior citizen, educated man with profession as consultant community medicines, adviser Public Health through out in Islamabad. Meeting accidents on wide Capital roads is astonishing and worrying. It is mostly due to skating on applying the brakes even on dry days with out any rains. Moreover one when reaches this part of age, he is mostly very cold minded, careful and alert when driving. It is not the age of rush and high speed driving. But bad luck would have it, who can change the fortune because of one’s vehicle faults.

    I changed not once but twice the tyres of my car at the advice of my mechanic to control skating and getting road grip, but could not remain safe and in spite of all that met accidents because of failure to control even light and slow motion.

    I have made a research survey of some the Beleeno cars with same defects in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Many faced loss, because of company’s manufacturing defects. And this has been a constant risk of threats to me and my family in particular and to the traffic and community in general.

    My car have been receiving and giving other cars, body-dents & paint damages through out this period of six (6) years since I am driving this car. It never happened any time before since 1977 till 2005; I am driving in and out the country. All losses I had been managing from my self.

    Now I approach the competent authorities kindly to pay attention to this serious matter of high risk and threat to whole community driving this model car through the country. I may approach to law and rule bodies for my and all others affected grievances. I am collecting more data on registered Beleeno cars of model 2005 to peruse and sue case of damages for all from the company.

    This car would have been tested before it was put on to the roads through customers. Every customer that uses your product is your Company member by law to be cared by your company, which in spite of high degree and magnitude complaints all over the country, the Pak Suzuki never paid any attention.

    More over it is the height of company’s negligence, poor supervisory check and substandard quality control that a friend of mine met an accident and when the roof of his car was opened for repair, there came out, the roof was made of Dalda-oil tins.

    Therefore it is approached that if no action for the remedy of Community Complaint is made at yours end, we may manage to high light the issue in media electronic and the press through press conferences, file the case in court of law and appeal to the CHIEF JUSTICE of Pakistan to take action against Pak-Suzuki Company at large at the interest of public in general and the company customers in particular as driving this car is a constant threat to all community on roads through out the country.

    Hope your Excellency will consider the matter at the interest of your company, if not the community.

    I am Ahsan Raza Khan from Karachi. I bought Alto VXR in Aug 2010. I found the gears of the car very hard to change from first to second. Now after one year today I have got a continuous pain in my left hand and now i feel difficulty in pulling things at one specific angle. Can Suzuki give me claim money against this injury to my left hand?

    “PAKSUZUKI REMAINS THE ONLY AUTOMOTIVE COMPANY IN THE WORLD WHICH STILL PRODUCES OBSOLETE “CARBURETOR” BASED CARDS WITH ZERO SAFETY FEATURES. IT IS NOT LAWFUL TO USE ASSEMBLE CARS USING THIS ANCIENT TECHNOLOGY ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE WORLD.
    FURTHERMORE LET ME POINT OUT PAKSUZUKI HAS SEVERLY CRITICIZED AND LOBBIED AGAINST RECENT MOVES TO BRING IN NEW AUTO ASSEMBLERS IN THE COUNTRY. THEY DO NOT WANT THEIR MONOPOLY TO BE BREAKEN AS THESE OBSOLETE, FEATURELESS CARS CANNOT BE SOLD IN ANY OTHER COUNTRY.
    1. Cultus is out of production everywhere in the world expect Pakistan. (yes, even african countries)
    2. Liana is sold in Pakistan only.(all other countries moved to SX4 several years back, including India and African countries.)
    3. The new Paksuzuki Swift is no longer assemebled anywhere else and has been retired and replaced with another safer version. Also Pakistan is the only country where the swift is being offered without air bags.
    4. The pakistani ALTO uses a early 1980s engine not used anywhere else in the world. Sj410
    5. The Bolan/Ravi cars are based on late 1970s platform. (suzuki carry / bedford rascal)
    Lets all pray to God that PakSuzuki’s monopoly will end in the future, and we will have a competitive auto industry.”

    I am Dr Ghayur going to sue in the court of law and the justice against the Suzuki Motor Company Pakistan. Our society is so corrupt that any right and perfect working business and manufacturing industry/unit performing outside Pakistan is delivering the best and quality services. But when same unit starts functioning in Pakistan the corrupt mafia jumps in and starts its corrupt interventions to earn black unfair money.

    Same thing happened to Pak Suzuki Co Karachi and this company has delivered hi cost compared to other places with much and far more down quality services and producing their low quality and sub standard cars to community.

    The one big and know example I quote of Suzuki Beleeno Car, sold at more than one million with substandard and low services and qualities.

    I bought 2005 model Beleeno car from Askari Leasing Company Kashmir arcade Blue Area Islamabad in May 2005 on my name as Dr. Ghayur Ahmad, registered at Islamabad with ICT JA 238 No. Since its few 1st days on road it is making explosions and tearing my car air filters every next week.

    Soon I met with an accident in Sept/Oct 2005. The front driven Honda city car on road applied breaks which worked and I in-spite of distance applied my breaks but my car with general tyres kept on rubbing the road making gheesies and slip over the road and stuck the car in my front, damaging his car and almost destroying mine even at a speed of 60-70 km /hour. It put me face lot of mental a physical tortures in its early days of purchase. Its break system is highly un reliable and failed technology is applied I this car.
    There is no road grip and car is at high risk and threat to meet accidents any time on road.

    It was insured and it was its first few months of the car on road so I received less financial loss but mechanic and the workshop I was sent by askari leasing took my 3 months to complete repair and till today there is a fault in their repair.

    Again in 2009 same thing happened and this time I faced Rs. 40000 loss in a Pvt Workshop because of no policy and not insured.

    This time since last days of 2010 till date July 2011, my care is raising and making explosions and gets off and restarts with great difficulties. The mechanics all over Islamabad told this is manufacturing fault of this cart with cables and cups of Coil mounted direct on top of engine.

    So to conclude Beleeno has not few not one or two, but lot of and many defects in it design and manufacturing.

    this high rate and cost car has down led many like me in markets to find the coils and replace and even than no remedy of the faults.

    To summarize the defects are;-
    1. It Has Manufacturing faults in Congenital, birth born and not the acquired one during the use and when on roads. It’s the responsibility of company to resolve and compensate in some reasonable way.
    2. Poor Break System I call it, PBS of Beleeno. When breaks are applied even at speed of 60 km /hr it deviates and gets unbalanced and takes side.
    3. It is high risk to drive Beleeno car at high speeds at Motor ways.
    4. Its life threatening even at low speeds with in cities.
    5. It is low bottom and touches even low road speed breaker and gets damaged.
    6. It has mechanical fault with coils and its cables and produces explosions and fires the air filter which get perforated now and every than. Its again responsibility of company to compensate in words and means of exchange Beleeno with Diana or Cultus.
    7. It has great problem with front two seats. These are made of low quality foam and depress soon after two months use and one has to repair them again.
    8. If these things are over looked by corrupt management of Suzuki Pakistani Management I will sue a case of damages of Rs. 100 million on or more against the company at Islamabad.

    Suzuki, it has only four wheel, and nothing else like a car, u can say it , that we have a car home with 4 wheel.
