Black Magic

Forces of Darkness (Part 1)

Evil or the forces of the darkness emerged with the emergence of Satan. Satan was infact a Jin and was elevated to the rank of leader of the Angels but when Allah Almighty created Adam and ordered all the Angels to bow before Adam, Satan refused. He said he was superior to Adam; hence he would not bow before Adam. He thought himself superior as he was made of fire while Adam was made of Mud. Angels are made of light and he was even leader of the Angels so he became jealous and compared himself with Adam and forgot Who gave the order. He disobeyed Allah’s Order and was deprived of all his ranks and was destined to Hell.

Satan became revenge full. He asked permission from Allah and said he would misguide humans from the right path if he was given time till the Judgement Day but he admitted he wont be able to misguide those who would be protected by Allah. He was given time and Satan started his work.

Satan has some powerful weapons with which he tries to misguide human. Among those include Magic, Unfaithful Jins, Nafs e Amara, Hamzat.

In this series we will discuss these one by one. Magic is defined as:

1. The art that purports to control or forecast natural events, effects, or forces by invoking the supernatural.

2. (a) The practice of using charms, spells, or rituals to attempt to produce supernatural effects or control events in nature.

(b) The charms, spells, and rituals so used. Black magic would be invoked to kill, injure, or cause destruction, or for personal gain.

Difference between Black and White is debatable but all forms of magic are black since it can’t bring any good. So its widely believed magic is black and is used for inflicting pain to others. Practicing magic is banned in many countries. In ancient times, kings used to have magicians with them in their courts and competitions were also held between magicians to show their skills.

We have seen movies like Hatim Tai and very famous lines like “Khul ja sim sim”. Words have powers associated with them and they act as codes. All you need to know the words. Words are repeated in a particular environment. Its like exercise which bring results after repetition. Its said that magicians read words of holy books in reverse order and by doing so they invoke forces of evil. Probably that is why they are condemned and will be given severe punishment by God.

Magicians also create dark environment to attract dark forces. They practice these things in dark rooms, with filth around. Its also said, that magicians or Amileens as they are commonly known, when are able to invoke dark forces, they do work/amal on things like locks and throw then in dark wells and filthy places after putting name of the person for whom the whole exercise is done. Mostly, the work is done either to break a marriage, bring someone’s business down, make someone fell ill and things like that only for the sake of putting evil to others and the amileens do it only for the sake of money.

Unfortunately, this thing is becoming common in Pakistan. With no check from government, these amils openly do business and erect large hoarding, claiming to provide you services if you need your beloved in your feet etc. Religious parties have never raise voice against this practice even when it’s strictly forbidden in Islam (and all other religions).

Watch any Islamic channels and you will be surprised to see, people calling from around the world in the programmes like Istikhara, asking the Maulana Sahib about their problems like continued illness, problems in marriages, tensions in families and financial problems. Mostly magic is mentioned the cause behind these problems and Maulana Sahib usually gives wazaifs with promise of unlocking the Bandish. But question is, is there anyone trying to stop these evil doers from doing this practice?

Most amileens are illiterate with no knowledge of religion and they can harm people with their practice. There is evidence of effects by Kufar to harm the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) by Magic and Allah gave the Last two Surahs of Quran to give him protection against magic and evil.

Its true that by reciting Quran Sharif and offering regular prayers, one can be saved from forces of evils but people are now vulnerable to dark forces due to present lifestyle. Its need of the time that Muslims should adopt Islamic lifestyle and also government should do something to stop people from selling evil in the markets.

Hi, Brin. The incident you mentioned is surprising for me. It seems right out of a movie and reminds me of African woodoo scenes.

I believe most of the people in this forum are a sort of dispelling their frustration that no one believes us in our society and usually if such sort of things are discussed in public everyone makes a mock of it.

But we do have an ample share of those people in our society who do believe and relate everything to magic, usually they are illiterate. Sorry to say that we have a big part of such type of illiterate/ignorant people going abroad and causing humiliation to our country. This is all due to a lack of proper education.

As far as our religion is concerned there is no room for any such attitude even if one’s neighbor is a major cause of despair.

It is reported, on the authority of Ayesha (R.A.) and lbn Umar (R.A.) that the messenger of Allah (S.A.W.) said “The Angel Jibra’il (A.S.) counselled me so frequently regarding the rights of the neighbour that I feared, he too would be declared an heir.”

From your question it is evident that the attitude of the neighbours shows signs of fear. It may be the fear of magic, it may be the fear that your friend lady might take them to law for such an act (which presumably is not related to them) etc. You know these days especially Pakistani community is having a hard time in your country.

My advise for the time being is that let the dust settle for a few days, then your friend should try sending some gifts like a dish that she made etc to her neighbor and see their reaction. You may come up with your own ideas. I hope that the ice will melt. Your friend may also visit some other neighbor and inquire about the painting of the fence incident.

In short I believe it is not a major issue in terms of severity but having hard relations with ones neighbor is a big issue and shouldn’t be taken as lightly. Every effort must be made to mend those relations.

Hello, I am a Catholic Christian in England, I hope you will forgive me taking part in your discussion. Peace be upon all Muslims who wish to live in peace with their neighbours.
This may be nothing to do with black magic or the fear of it, but can you tell me something ? A friend of mine, a woman who lives alone, and who I believe to be a good Christian woman who does no-one any harm, came back from her work recently to find that someone had painted her front garden fence black. But the other side of the fence – on the side of her Muslim neighbours – had not been touched. Since this happened, they have refused to speak to her or open their door. She is not angry but would like to know why this has been done on her property.
This seems such an irrational and pointless act that I am wondering if it has any significance to Muslims, or to Pakistanis (most of the Pakistanis in our town are from Kashmir and Punjab.) Does it mean anything ? Is it a sign that someone believes this woman is doing something wrong ?
Do forgive me if my curiosity is misplaced, and be assured that I mean no offence against Muslims or people from Pakistan.

    Assalam-o-Alaikum,

In my last post I briefly described the steps to get rid of the evil effects of magic. Here I will try to give some more details.

My first encounters with magic begin in around 1990-1 (while I was still studying). Most of the people I have seen including myself going through this dilemma have had some sort of love relationship. I don’t know if it is a co-incidence or what. I too had a relationship that I can term as true love. I lost, she got married to someone else but the things didn’t end here.

I won’t go into details how many hardships I felt during that time as it is a very long story.

To cut short there have been plenty of ups and downs. It is my observation that when you are going straight and you are afflicted with magic first there is a very hard period than a period of relaxation does come. You know Shaytan is our eternal enemy, his age is more than that of the current human race. Every time you think you are out of it you get entrapped in another trap and it starts all over again. For e.g. after my hardships got lessened it was an upwards climb for me. Got my first job almost effortlessly. I got promoted very fast and within a year or two I was heading a large company. After that a slump came, I lost that job and we were into hard times again. This time it was very much harder as now I had a family to feed. Only parents going through hard times can imagine the pain when one’s baby is crying and you don’t have any money to purchase even a pack of milk. (non-married persons going through hardships should consider themselves lucky 🙂 ).

Here is my analysis of that turn-over. Basically I am into net-related business (software development). My credit card needs were born out of necessity first as I had to do online transactions. After I got the card I got into the trap that hay I am not taking any interest I am just giving it. I forgot the saying of the Prophet (SAW) the meaning of a part of it is that Allah’s wrath is on the giver as well as the taker of the interest. I believe that is where my downfall started.

While I was in my job I took credit terms from ABN Amro (BTF). And after starting my own business when got into financial problems took interest based loan (Ready Cash) from Union Bank (Now Standard Chartered). Now when I am writing this I am thinking why I did that and not trusted my Lord? At that time I said I am helpless as my children are crying, business suffering and it will help me. All went wrong. Babies did cry and a time came I thought death is better than this living. Most of the office equipment was sold to pay of the interest. At that time I thought I had no choice other than to deposit the monthly payment in the bank and after the interest deduction draw the remaining money for our monthly expenses. No matter what we did we were gradually sinking deeper and deeper.

That was the time someone asked me to visit some pious men in F-10/1 Islamabad (last house on St: 37). They could tell me what is wrong (one has to take his shirt that has been worn). I went there, they told me that I have bundish. In my opinion they are genuine people and take no money for what they do. They see only on Sunday and there is a khalqat present there. I do recommend them.

After doing what they prescribed (they also give instructions like remove all the pictures of living things etc most of those I mentioned in my previous post, if someone asks I can scan and attach their instructions/instructed ayats etc in this forum) things did get a bit better but still we were sinking. It was at that time that we decided that we will break ourselves loose from all interest related activities. I told my wife that it is going to be very hard. But Alhamdulillah we did it. I tore all my credit/credit account cards. Now what we deposited in the bank any money couldn’t be taken out. As time passed our situation became worse and worse as we just couldn’t pay the full amount every month. There was money in our interest-related bank accounts that we couldn’t draw to make the re-payment. Notices started to come from the banks, we just ignored them. At the last one bank termed me as defaulter and asked me to pay back the full amount. I didn’t open that envelop until after the date has been passed (Alhamdulillah nothing happened). A time came that I thought that we are in a valley of no hope. Death was dearer to me than life. Every time such sort of ideas came to my mind a thought came that the one who has created me knows my condition better than even my own self. At last when everything was on the verge of collapse help did came from Allah and our company got a big project from abroad. And things started rolling again.

So whenever I see downward trend in my life I have had committed some gross mistake. Repentance is the key to success.

A sister in one of her posts asked why someone would do this evil thing? And for how long will the negative impact of the bandish or magic will last? My answer is that there may be a thousand motives. In magic usually the spirits make pacts with the magician. For e.g. if you do this wrong to your neighbor I will grant you so and so magical powers. So you may get caught even if you didn’t hurt or cross over paths with anybody. Answer to the second question is that usually the effects last till the person doing the magic upon you is living. No matter how many times you break the spell they may come up with something new. The only cure is the defence all the time. They can only break your defence only when you are weak. In my case now Alhamdulillah I am strong but now they are coming up against the ones who are nearer to me and who are weak and eventually it effects me. It is a continuous battle that you have to fight.

Now coming back to the context of the post of brother Syed, please don’t get impatient. People like you have been through pains like you and survived why can’t you? Only kaafir’s gave up hope with Allah. He knows our condition more than we know about ourselves. One of the natural consequences of what I have been passing through is that I am now more into spiritual side of Islam and I recommend it for every fellow believer. One of Islamic scholars Ibn ‘Ata’ Illah al-Iskandari has said:
One of the signs of relying on deeds is loss of hope when a misstep occurs.
Just for a moment think what it says. We should not rely on deeds like I have done so and so good deed that I will be rewarded. Or I have done such and such bad deed that I will be punished. Always think about Allah’s mercy.
Abu Hurayra (Allah be well pleased with him) heard the Holy Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) say:
“None of you shall be saved by his works.” A man said, “Not even you yourself, O Messenger of Allah?” He said, “Not even me myself, unless Allah envelopes me in mercy from Him. But aim to do right” (Muslim, 4.2169: 2816).
We should always believe on Allah’s mercy and follow the straight path.
In the same way one must not consider any of the sins as small. As far as I can remember a Hadith that the thinking of a non-believer is like he terms his sin as a fly that he can put away anytime, but a believer thinks of a minor sin as very big.
I also very much like the saying of Abu Madyan (One of Islamic Mystics) who said, “The heartbrokenness of the sinner is better than the forcefulness of the obedient” (Diwan, 50).
To get started first of all you should repent from all your previous sins by doing wudhu by the niyya of Salat at tauba. Then offer two rakahs by heart and ask for the forgiveness of all your sins. The second hadith in the Musnad of Imam Ahmad relates with a rigorously authenticated (sahih) chain of transmission that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, “There is no man who commits a sin, then makes ablution (wudu) and makes it well, then prays two rak‘as and asks forgiveness of Allah Mighty and Majestic, save that he is forgiven.”

About your vicious thoughts while in prayer:

‘Uthman ibn Abi’l-‘RA reported that he went to the Prophet (SAW) and said, ‘Messenger of Allah, Shaytan comes between me and my prayer and my recitation and confuses me.’ He said, “That is a Shaytan called Khinzab. When you feel that, seek refuge in Allah from him and spit to your left three times.’ I did that and Allah removed it from me.” (Muslim.).

At the last all of those afflicted please be assured you can do it as I have done it. It is not easy. To get the spiritual strength please visit the following link: http://shadhilitariqa.com/site/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=35&Itemid=24

It is just recently that I come across this website and I came to know in fact this is what I have been doing. I have been reciting Duas like Hizb-ul-Bahr and reading Dlayal-ul-Khayrat to combat with the effects of magic not knowing that there are devoted and spiritual people adhering to these beliefs and in fact it is our deviation from Islam that is causing all sorts of troubles. It is in my opinion Islam’s means of combat. I urge you to start with the 40 grand as mentioned in this website it is worth your time and effort.

    Thanks, Wassalam.

Asalamalykum to all brothers and sisters,

I am so glad that i have found this website, it brings tears to my eyes that so many people are going through black magic problems, like i have and still am.

me and my whole family have been upon a spell where jinns distrupt you whilst you are sleeping, and predict horrible futures for you in your dreams, then they actually come to visit you daily to ensure that them dreams become reality, and indeed they do.

for the past 10 years all of our family have been suffering so many problems, one after another, at first we just thought that they were natural problems from Allah (swa), but then they just got worser and worser. All of our family didnt even know that black magic existed until we experienced it for ourselves, even now when we tell friends and family that we are going through black magic, its like they dont even believe us. But only Allah T alah knows what we are going through and only he will give us strengh inshallah.

Like so many other people, I have tried exams assignments by putting so much time and effort, and i fail. I also get job interviews and i dont get them even after trying so many times, when i do get a job, i for some reason am not working there anymore, even though i really want to work? Sounds silly, but these are just a per cent of the issues through black magic that I have had to be a slave of. And this doesnt include what other members of family have had 2 go thru.

Then one day, my dad said to my mother that we need to see a malsab. After pursuading my mum to go as she isnt much of a believer (but is now!),the malsab told us that somebody (cant be named) have done black magic on our family. He gave us tawiz to burn etc, but the problems was not managed, it was only controlled a little. After going to so many malsabs, they all said that they cant help us because the black magic was that intense, that it would be impossible to get rid of. In need of desperate help, my dad was advised of another experienced scholar in Pakistan. Just by phone, he was actually able to help us, may Allah Talah grant him a good place in the heavans, because without him i probably wouldnt b writing this today and im only 18! He still is helping us about 75%, but the other 25% nobody can, inshallah the black magic will now go away, please make dua for us!

At present, my mother is suffering from cancer, the malsab say that it is due to black magic and will get better inshallah, but the doctors say that there is no cure anymore, and is referring her to a hospice. This conflict is so shocking! But all of our family have hope that she will get better regardless of what the doctors say. PLEASE MAKE DUA FOR MY MUM, she has been through so much.

If anybody is going through black magic, i know it can be depressing and frustrating and other words nobody can describe, but i advise that dont forget Allah, even tho u want to blame him so much for what u r going throug.Suray Taha i think is sipara 16 of quran is also a really good thing to pray for black magic and also manzils.

Black Magic doers will get their punishment in this world and the hereafter, they are illeterate people who strive on jealousy, but inshallah may Allah t Alah give then hidayat (hope) and increase their knowledge of islam so they can reap the rewards from Allah SWA instead of thinking they are rewarded by hurting other innocent human beings.

Sorry i have wrote so much,I hope it is useful, Please make dua for me and my fmaily specially my mum, and i will make dua for the whole of islamic ummah. Ameen

Syed: As you have mentioned, you have done few evil things in the past which were not that big. My brother, drinking and sex is nothing less than ‘Big’. Its good that you have stopped all such evil things but seems you caught something during that period. Personally, i think its not black magic but its some evil which is hovering over you.

Jinns and evil spirits try thier utmost not to let their victim read Holy Quran or wazaif. Anyways,I will suggest you to change your lifestyle like brother Muhammad_f has mentioned above plus change your environment/location if possible. Morever, you need to contact a good Buzurg/spirtual person who is powerful enough to remove the evil spirit.

Sunny: Allah is Oft Forgiving and the Most Merciful so don’t think you are being punished. Allah Forgives all those who seek forgiveness and its not sins which are punished, but its repetition of sins which is punished by Allah Almighty.

Basically, its the lifestyle which we need to change. We should be living according to the instructions of Allah Almighty and the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). If you are on the right path my brother then be assured you will see good days inshAllah.

In my humble opinion, plz recite the last 2 surahs of Holy Quran three times on water and give her to drink for few days. Additionally, you may contact some good religious personality in your area for seeking help.May Allah solve all the gunuine problems of you and your sister.
