the people directly affected by this are firstly, the immediate family of Mrs Bhutto for their loss and secondly, those who are and will be affected in days, weeks, months to come as a result of all the rioting.

personally, why are these people burning tyres, cars, shops, trains etc. how is this helping anyone? being muslims and calling themselves muslims they should stay at home and pray for Mrs Bhuttos soul to rest in peace and for the family to come through and deal with this ordeal.

violence has never and never will be a resolution to any problem.

This was all too predictable, and indeed many of us predicted it when she returned to Pakistan.

It remains to be seen whether or not we’ll find out what actually happened. The possibilities are many, and a lot of people wanted this done for their own reasons.

today it is one of the darkest days in the history of pakistan! this was a true tragedy..but one cannot say that benazir bhutto was not aware of something like this to happen…she was well warned…even though i do not support PPP but as a human being i think that she was a brave woman..and its really sad what has happened.her life was full of tragedies…this tragedy has shook the whole nation and now we can just watch what the time brings…and i see a really dark future ahead.terrible things will happen..and have already happened…standing trucks of my family relative were burnt just like that…these people should not harm the innocent bystanders .its just so unbelievable…she did not deserve this even though her party was as corrupt as anything…i hope she rests in peace…support nawaz sharif!

A real tragedy, but you can’t say she wasn’t warned. She shouldn’t have addressed rallies and exposed herself to sniper fire. Again, you have to admit that she didn’t really have to come back to Pakistan, since she had so much money she didn’t need to go into politics again. As they say, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. There’s a lesson here for those who crave power. I hope we don’t see any more deaths in the violence which is sure to occur in the next few days.

it’s really sad to see how low some people can get in their lust for power..

what’s done is done..but it’s the aftermath that’s gonna be a hallmark in our country’s history..
