Wearing Taweez for protection from Black Magic

During the pre-Islamic days of ignorance, people used to wear charms and amulets, which Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W.) strictly forbade. After Islam started to spread and people’s Eman became strong, he gave permission to wear Taweez. Until today Taweez is confused with charms, talismans and amulets, and people bring Hadith which label these as shirk and use them to say that Taweez is not allowed. Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W.) himself allowed the wearing of Taweez as is evident from this Hadith:

A child was crying, and they told him that it was due to the evil eye. Urwa said, “The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “Why do you not find someone to make a Taweez to protect him from the evil eye?” (Al-Muwatta Hadith 50.4 Guarding from the Evil Eye.)

There was a time when Arab scholars were ranting shirk, shirk, shirk without any understanding, but even though they have changed their opinion now, they have come up with the theory that Taweez has to be in Arabic. This is lack of knowledge on their part.

God fearing Amils write Taweez with Musk and others with Zafraan, and some with a simple pen, and they are not in Arabic, and yet they have helped people all over the world. Just because one does not understand something does not make it wrong.

It is not compulsory to get a Taweez for protection, and it is understood that there are a lot of frauds who claim to be Amils, so if a person wants to stay away then it is a personal choice. However, simply because one makes that choice does not give that person the right to slander Amils and Taweez.

Since you are offering a lot of solutions to people, I need one as well, so please help:

Is it important to read the Qur’an to understand it? Apart from chanting the Arabic, with translation, understanding the meaning? Have you been able to do this at any point in life? I mean cover to cover with a determined intention to understand the message. Is it really important? What do you think?

Dearest Brother Afzal: Alhamhulillah, brother your words bring tears to my eyes, and if I may say so, I love you for the sake of Allah. I offer my heart felt prayers to Allah for Him to guide and protect you and keep you and all of us under His Mercy.

Brother Afzal, Allah(SWT) has honored you with having memorized the Holy Quran, I agree it is a huge responsibility on the Hafiz, and the Hafiz has to work so much harder against the Wawasah and presence of the Shaytaan, to divert and deceive you from closeness to Allah(SWT) and hoping in the Mercy.

Allah (SWT) says fear Me and have hope in Me, and you will find Me as you think of Me. and Inshallah if we have fear of His retribution and hope in His Mercy, then Inshallah, He will protect us and include us in His Mercy. It is a Blessing of Allah that He prolongs our lives so that we may turn to Him most sincerely, Allah can forgive all our sins so long as we have not committed Shirk and that there is deeply held hope in His Mercy. I’m sorry that I keep referring to this area of our Eman, but deep down this is the essence of mankind’s relationship Allah (SWT), indeed He created us (Alameen) to worship Him only. Allahualam.

Brother Afzal, I have a read a book “How to Protect yourself from Jinn and the Shaytaan” this is also a very good, and can also be downloaded from http://www.Kalamullah.com/books.html. Amongst other topics this book goes into detail of how the Shaytaan contacts Mankind, and how the Shaytaan conducts himself to corrupt the believers heart. When one knows the Shatytaan approaches, deceptions, then one can, inshallah, become Alert, and to turn to Allah for his protection.

    Allah Hafiz.

    My dear brother muhammad.

I will download the book insha-allah

Daroode Rahmat praises both our beloved prophet (PBUH) & allah (SWT) to highest in short words – it pleases allah (SWT) in such away that it is called daroode Rahmat.

Please ask at a book shop a Book Faqray -Majmoay – Wazahif
Daroode Rahmat is in this book.

As I mentioned if you practiced reading this Darood same as salat by treating the holy name of our beloved prophet (PBUH)
as if entering garden of paradise – I promise inshallah the taste in your mouth will speak for itself (but dont practice all this for these effects practice it as the best method you can think of to please & be nearer to both allah(swt) & our prophet(Pbuh) – the results are rewards of how hungry you are to please.

Any (Salat) should be practiced alone in dim lighting at night with detailed meaning as method explained .

I am pleased you want to try this You will be glad you did, but please practice this at night even if its just 2 – nafil.

Please Pray for me may allah clean our hearts of worldly things as the damage can change ones life so much -the loss is hardly thinkeable of how much it can distance one away from allah(SWT).

As for daroode rahmat -try it & try daroode – habeeb which ever read it regular (darood most suited to you) will create a unique taste (like taste of milk) after 40 – days or sooner stick to reciting that darood for that is suited to you best.

Once again my brother we are all humble I being the most as allah(swt) can take away what he gives we often become proud we are doing a good deed but it is allah(swt) that should be praised for gifting us with that good deed.

May allah grant us all his pleasure & make our prophet proud of us as true muslims (ameen)

Incidentally, you mentioned in your earlier reply, Daroode Rahmat, excuse my ignorance, but which Darood is this, I know the basic one and the daroode Ibrahim (Assaltu wasalam)

    Allah Hafiz.

Brother Afzal, Thank you brother, I am humbled, but please do not then me, really, just please Thank Allah (SWT) and make Dua for me, that we may attain a level of closeness to Him and the Holy Prophet (PBUH) that pleases Allah (SWT) and the Holy Prophet, and that we may receive his Mercy. because it is by the Mercy of Allah that anything is possible in this life and the next.

Brother the Ruqyah is quite detailed, and it would be better if you download the book “Jinn and Human Sickness” I referred to in an earlier reply.

    http://www.kalamullah.com/books.html

Anyway this book has some very useful, practical information and instructions.

If you have a problem downloading, please let me know and we can find an alternative method.

Very briefly, the books starts off with intro to Jinn, their nature, and interaction with mankind, covers black magic and then Evil Eye. References are made to the Holy Quran and the Sunnah. This book covers topics, in some detail, causes, symptoms and cures (Ruqyah), and they vary for the Evil Eye, Black Magic, and Jinn possession.

Once you have, inshallah downloaded, then we can discuss specifics. but frankly, once you have this book, and mashallah with you being a Hafiz of Quran, you should, inshallah, have no problem in understanding it and applying it.

Brother, may Allah (SWT) grant you patience, peace, happiness, and above all cover you with the his Mercy, Ameen.

    My dear brother muhammad

Please give me some information on rukyah –

I would also like to share the pleasure of my past experience that transported me before holy kaba.

we all believe allah is every where around us? – well one can experience the very presence of allah (swt) its a fact through salaat!

THIS CAN BE EXPERIENCED – if each word in salaat is read by understanding & concentratingonthe meaning & every word
that has the word Rab,rahkmaan, raheem think of it as a huge ocean let the Heart swim in that ocean followed by the mind.

Brother salaat will truely show its affects I promse! – today we dont see the affects of salaat because our heart & mnd else where.
To practice as suggested to start at night with dim lighting in the room – ths can then be perfected gradually during other salaats with time.
WHY HAVE I TOLD YOU THIS? is so you will know the pain I am going through comparing my past life to present.

As for my mother she passed away 2 – years a go – & its my step family I blame as well as myself.

But May allah(swt) clean my heart & forgive & guide me,

So brother keep up the good work as I still say you are a gifted person with a comforting heart & words (thats a gift)

I have come across a Zikre – Khasbonalla -ho -vanaymalvakeel, Naymal mohaa-vanayanaseer.The meaning of this should solve many problems (I will rest my heart in this)

Once again BrotherI thank you from my heart & allah has given you a gift of clean heart which flows out kind words.

    Allah hafiz to all readers

Brother Afzal: By the Will and Leave of Allah (SWT) you are very welcome, please do not thank me, I am nothing, really, Just say Alhamulillah and put your faith and trust in Allah.

Alhamdulillah, that Allah has not closed his doors for you, Allah has still maintained a sense fear and purpose in your heart and mind, and He is allowing you to find a way to see beyond your present predicament. Think about for a moment, if He did not, you would not be able to open your eyes and heart, the fact that you are looking for a solution is testament to the fact that Allah, inshallah, is with you, so that you correct matters that need correcting, only you and Allah know what they are.

Brother you have to take the corrective steps with your mother and Allah (SWT), and there is wisdom in the Holy Prophet (PBUH) saying that Jaannet is at the feet of your mother.

Brother Afzal, let me share a little of my story with you, I am in your age group. My mother passed away quite early, when I was young, so my father was a father and mother figure. after my marriage, my father was very angry with me and my wife, for a reason, and he stopped talking to me and my wife for a number of yours, even though I would go and visit him and contribute in anyway that I could, but all he would do is exchange Salaams with me and my wife, nothing else, no conversation. I felt lonely, even though married, no mother and my father not talking to me. anyway, I knew one thing and that I should not even say ohff to my parents and to respect them no matter what they said, and to obey them so long they are not asking me to disbelieve. One day I decided that enough was enough and I went to my father, he was sitting on the chair, all I could do was to sit in front of him and hold and kiss his feet, and sobbing, I begged him to forgive me.

Brother, Allah (SWT) says in the Holy Quran, this is not precise wording from the Quran, don’t think you will not be tested, the patient ones will be successful, so brother consider this a test. I agree it is a very big test, but, inshallah, be patient, turn to Allah, and do the Ruqyah.

If you have questions regarding the Ruqyah, you are most welcome to ask, any time. Inshallah, what little information/knowledge I have I will eagerly impart it to you and all my Muslim brothers and sisters.

    Allah Hafiz.
