United Nations Double Standard

Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, Haji Muhammad Ashraf and Mohammad Ahmed Bahaziq, are “subject to the assets freeze, travel ban and arms embargo,” set out in Security Council resolution 1822 of 2008, said the al-Qaida and Taliban Sanctions Committee. The United Nations Security Council sanctions committee targeted four members of Pakistani banned outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), blamed for the Mumbai attacks, for assets freeze and other sanctions.

The advisor to Prime Minister for the interior affairs Rehman Malik has said that India hasn’t given any proof to Pakistan and that means that India hasn’t even given any proof to the security council of United Nations, so especially when the Pakistani rep wasn’t aware of any such happening in the UN, is very strange.

Pakistan is a peace loving country and has sacrificed most in the war against terror, and in these circumstances, its very very strange that UN has moved in this fashion, and especially when the same organization applauded the role of Jamat ud Dawa during its relief work of earth quake in 2005.

These double standards give rise to the scrooge of terrorism.

Dont talk to us about Nukes. You have your mutt brain government to destroy Pakistan. India or the US dont even have to do anything.

You guys tell us that we do not know anything about Jihad. Great. Even if we dont know what it is, we know that your Pakistanis are training people to take innocent lives. Whether that is Jihad or not is not the point. The fact remains that you guys have bastardized your religion to a degree that you have no respect in any part of the globe.

As for telling Americans of their culture, we know what your culture offers: 1) A womans word is considered half truth, 2) You have honour killings, 3) Your religious leaders give fatwas against people who express their democratic right. Actually you guys may be infected by some sort of a virus.

About making the Taj mahal shoot out look like a picnic, it shows the nature of your mentality. You are prone to violence. Madeline Albright was absolutely right – you are the migraine of the world.

As for India reeling with its separatist movements, I think you guys have no clue of ground realities. We dont even hear of any of these groups even though every once in a while there is some news. These are small change issues for us.

You will also realize that India has tremendous credibility in Afghanistan. We will have a greater presence there whether Pakistan likes it or not. You can cry all you want.

In the meanwhile we will see the Americans do the bombings in Pakistan with their drones. Pakistan today is without respect.
