According to police sources, unknown miscreants threw two hand grenades at a house of Habib Ali in Bannu Township. One of the grenade was exploded with a bang and damaging the main gate of the house whereas police have defused another grenade. No causality was reported in the incident.
In a likewise incident in Hangu, multiple grenades were hurled at the security forces but luckily there was no damage.
In a similar incident in the Khyber Agency, unidentified miscreants started shooting in a market resulting in many injuries and then ran away to unknown destinations.
According to media sources, pro government tribal leader Malik Shah Jahan shot dead in Shandi Mor area of Khar. Three other persons sustained injuries during firing. The injured were shifted to Khar hospital.
Frontier Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti must take notice of such “unidentified” incidents, as they are now becoming a norm in the NWFP province.
