Indian External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee is more than likely has gone out of his mind and in order to evade the resignation along with the other officials of the ruling party, he is exuding more and more flames to hide and mask his own failure. At least 188 people were killed and more than 300 injured in a 60-hour stand-off between 10 heavily-armed Islamist extremists and security forces in what the media here have dubbed “India’s 9/11”.
Indian media and the Indian officials are still showing their aggression and instead of investigating and finding the root causes behind the attacks, but it seems that India is not ready to play positive and want to extract more and more sympathies from the world, which is also ambivalent.
Every sovereign country has its right to protect its territorial integrity and take appropriate action as and when it feels necessary and if India goes with any aggression, then Pakistan is fully capable to retaliate. US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is due in India on Wednesday to try to lower tensions after the attacks in Mumbai, which could threaten the US-led effort to battle militants along Pakistan’s Afghan border.
It will be a test for the Rice to at least accomplish something worthwhile at the twilight of her lack luster and disgusting career.
