PML-N chief, Mian Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Peoples Party co-chairman, Asif Ali Zardari have once again met in the Islamabad over a lunch and “allegedly” they are agreeing upon graceful splinter. Mian Nawaz Sharif has tried to convince Asif Zardari to accept his demands of judges’ restoration, president’s impeachment and restoration of 1973 constitution in the meeting and Zardari is still sticking to his blabbing about the fear of America.
That is very sad and painful, and if at the last moment or after the grace period some leeway is found between the two arch-rivals who came closer after the elections of 18th February, then it would be very heartening and it would be welcomed by the Pakistanis throughout the country.
Pakistan is already engulfed in myriad number of crisis, and it has become very difficult for the people to meet the ends, but its beyond comprehension as why don’t the leadership of PPP understand it and restore the judges and issue the time frame for the impeachment of Pervez Musharraf.
But it seems esoteric, as instead of compromising, Federal Law Minister Farooq H Naek has chipped in and saying that judges should take new oath from Pervez Musharraf.
