Petition against Pak Suzuki Motor Company

Pak Suzuki Motor has been spewing out vehicles in Pakistan for almost 25 years now. This post speaks out on the behalf of those people who are the victim of low quality production and highly un-user friendly approach of this plant.

The end-product a customer gets from this plant after a painfully lengthy period is simple a heap of bland garbage. For instance I recently got my Mehran Suzuki Car from a local dealer in Rawalpindi almost 2 months ago and still hasn’t been able to experience the smooth functioning of vehicle. There were many manufacturing faults in it from the outset. Major manufacturing faults were faulty hand brake, loose doors, substandard rubbers, dried up bushes, ill-fitted window glasses. The Rs. 350000+ vehicle hadn’t even got simple cheap things like mud flaps, seat covers, and other small things. Automobile mechanics themselves advice that one has to replace many parts of a new vehicle in order to get some sort of relief.

This state of affair is absolutely unacceptable. If you share the pain, frustration and humiliation, then please join hands to protest against this high-handedness of Pak Suzuki Motors Company by signing the following petition:

@ Mazhar: I have also heard lots of people lamenting their purchase of Cultus, Alto and other brands of Suzuki, but yes Mehran is the super model of low-quality garbage.

Indeed Suzuki Mehran is very sub standard car.I would like to add further to it by saying that all Suzuki brand cars including Cultus and Alto are also not comparable to other competitors in the market. The plus point is that their spare parts are cheap and readily available in market.

@ Mairaj: I concur with you that buyers are themselves to blame for the on-going high-handedness of PSM, but doenst this kind of attitude of ours is visible in every walk of life? Dont we all have become zombies and vegetables?

@ Qaiser: McDonalds may provide quality, but personally I dont find any taste there. It cant beat our Behari kababs and the likes. 🙂

    @ Javed: “overpriced”..absolutely.

I am using cars by suzuki and loathe them every second of it. The only reason for sticking to them is that I can’t afford othre cars. All cars including suzuki are overpriced.

I hate Pak Suzuki more than I hate McDonalds. At least McDonalds provides quality food (though bland) despite of their foreign evil corporate culture.

    Assalamaualaikum,

It’s kinda hilarious to note that we are voicing agianst for Mehran only after having used it now for more than two decades!!!!! two decades !!!! why weren’t there any people who had the guts to speak it out their mistrust on this crap earlier – how long will it take for us to get our acts straight, and be true in our dealings, for how long will we keep on being hypocrites, we find it very easy to criticise but when it come to really doing something, the first one to back off would be the one who was speaking the most.

The buyer themselves are the ones who made Mehran a success in pakistan now why are they having problems with their own choice, what did they do to bring improvement into this car, nothing. If you keep buying the same Sh..t, they’ll keep producing the worst, they don’t have a reason to improve after all, so the result would be, same mehran even worst and that too even after 2020. Go figure!!!

Thanks God, I read this thread, now when next month I go to showroom I will buy some other car instead of Suzuki Mehran.

I prefer to walk instead of hopping in any sort of suzuki especially so-called assembled at Bin-Qasim.
