In order to better equip our nation’s graduates for their future career the Government of Pakistan has introduced a National Internship Program where fresh unemployed graduates from all over the country will get one year hands-on experience with government organizations nationwide and emerge as an even better human resource for the country’s economy.
All unemployed post graduates and graduates having completed 16 years of formal education in any discipline during the calendar years 2005 and 2006 are eligible for applying. Applicants must have completed education from HEC recognized Universities/Colleges including external candidates and must be 25 years or less of age by 31 December 2006. The internees will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs. 10,000/- (all-inclusive) during the internship period. After successful completion of one year’s internship, interns will be awarded NIP certificate of experience.
Interested candidates can apply online through website: www.nip.gov.pk
It seems a revolutionary step by the Government of Pakistan. Potential energy of educated youth can be directed to its most effective usage. Underemployment in the form of mismatching can be reduced. Meanwhile, public sector suffering arising from chronic shortage of officials can be avoided.
On other hand, this step is seen as campaign for forthcoming elections. Other serious considerations are arising about the funding of program. This project is expected to be financed by higher inflation and direct and/or indirect taxes. Moreover, sustainability of project is not assured by government.

thanx mr farooq but the problem is that when i check my application satatus they said that Please check your updated status after 1st March 2007.
so plz tell me what can i do ?my application is submitted or not?or can we submit the form 2 or 3 times?plz tell me

what the hell is this site every time i try open it there is a error and if some how it oppened then after filling form when i click submitt it turn out that there is an error on page………………… whats this?????/
I submitt my application twice but there is no confirmation how i will know that my aplicatin is submitted lz telll me if some one knows………….
have any body goot refrence # to check the status of his/her application………….
and for our govt oficials………….
u people have made a revolutionary step but i wana ask u one Question y u people made simple things complex……….. the site is not opening i thing u shold give us some email id on which we can send pur Cvs etc but for the time being plz tell me have u got my appication form or not and whats the confirmation procedure i-e how will i know that my form is e=received by you

Wel it is all about the answer that has been asked by miss sara 25TH FEB that after sub how one can determine that whethar their form has been sub or not.if your form has been sub then you will get a no. along with a password for confirmation.
further you can sure by going to the check status in front page of nip . first give reference no then give password then click to the “check status” button & conirm ur status o application whether submited or not
