Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi quits PPP, resigns from Parliament

Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi

Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi, former Foreign Minister and Senior PPP leader, has resigned from the membership of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). He has also resigned from his seat in National Assembly.

Qureshi is rumoured to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf soon. If he does that, it will certainly strengthen PTI in Southern Punjab and parts of Sindh where the Makhdoom has abundant followers.

Its fantastic to hear the new name that Quershi has given the PPP i.e. The Zardai League. I would go further and call the PPP “The Zardari League of Crooks and Criminals”.
