Habit of Blaming Leaders

Murder, rape, robbery, theft, fraud, dowry, honor killings, alcohol consumption, prostitution, destruction, molestation, abduction, fornication, oppression, exploitation, corruption, you name it. Major problems and not one has to do with leaders.

Of course, the list includes poverty too, which is also blamed on leaders. Poor people have a lot of children and due to poverty, either poison them or throw them in front of a train. If their financial condition is so poor, who told them to have so many children. And how can anyone blame this on leaders. Which leader has ever told people to have so many children when they don’t even have enough to feed themselves.

Many poor people enroll their children in madressas because some madressas provide free food. However, the kind of physical beatings that innocent little children undergo in madressas at the hands of mullahs is too horrible to describe. Is this why poor people have so many children?

Poor people’s children end up in horrible occupations. Boys end up becoming laborers. Girls end up becoming prostitutes. Who’s to blame. Leaders? Some people even blame domestic abuse on leaders. What’s next? I’m assuming black magic is also because of leaders.

Major problems occur when people as a whole indulge in major sins. No leader goes around telling people to do so. We are responsible for our problems. It is about time we took responsibility for our actions.

@ haider: for every Jew on the planet, there are twelve Muslims. Yet the Jews dominate the world. Do you know why Jews are so powerful? Because most of them don’t have more than 2 kids.

Some factions who are against a democratic setup because it gives power to the people of Pakistan are against this system. They have launched a campaign to ridicule our leaders and make people refute the system. We must not let them succeed them and support the democratic setup as much as we can.

@tayab. I would agree with u. corruption and poverty are two main issues that relate with governance directly. Extremism is another factor that needs to be controlled in Pakistan for a safe future.

@Ali: Name me one single crime from the list and tell me what it has to do with leaders.

@Tayab: Mr. Lakhani is against those mullahs who preach nonsense about birth control. I’m glad you agree with him, because I do too.

@Haider: Since feeding is Allah’s responsibility, why are you blaming leaders? I know you do not and will not have ten children. There is no shortage of hypocrites like you. I have seen many bearded people with only one or two children. Hypocrites preach one thing and practice another.

Leaders spend public money in all parts of the world. George Bush spent millions on war sending the American economy in turmoil. However, the kind of poverty that is found in countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, etc is not found anywhere because people in other countries don’t have ten children.

Actually people like you so called uneducated mulims are the reason for the downfall of Pakistan and Muslim world. Stupid… Allah has taken the responsibility of feeding the baby..and our Prophet said give birth to as many kids as you can..dont worry…its not ur responsibility..actually its government fault..why because they are corrupt..looting our economy..people pay taxes and they goes in their pockets,..electricity is expensive…milk is expensive..rice is expensive..sugar is expensive…whose fault is this? poor people fault? u asking poor people not to give birth to a child but yeah government can eat Nation’s treasure..Zardari and all these politicians have Billions of dollars in their swiss accounts.. whose money is that? our money..common people money..these poor’s money whom u r asking to not give birth to a child …Birth control is, however, forbidden or undesirable if resorted to for fear of poverty. Allah says, “Don’t kill your children for fear of poverty; it is We who provide sustenance for them and you; verily killing them is a most heinous crime!” (Al-Isra’: 31). After reflecting on this verse, it is clearly concluded that practicing birth control for fear of poverty is unlawful since it implies weakness of faith and trust in Allah as the Provider and Sustainer of all beings.

I agree with Shaker. It is shamefull to the extent of crime to blame poor people having more children. Over third of our population is at or under poverty line becuse 0.5% of people of lesser children have bankrupted the nation.

Yusha please get your facts right before you embark on misleading others from real issues.

The poor have more children because they have no money for entertainment. They cannot go on picnics or see movies, they cannot socialize, they have no money to travel, so the males spend their spare time in mosques, where the illiterate mullahs tell them that it is a heinous sin to practise birth control. And because they have so many children whom they cannot feed, their kids are given to madressahs where they’re trained to be suicide bombers. The expenditure on the prime minister’s house is 3 million rupees a day. That alone is enough to feed 50,000 people every day. If our leaders had more sense, they wouldn’t spend so much on themselves. The money saved could be used to significantly reduce poverty.

@yusha. Come on now. Your first paragraph and almost most of the attributes are linked to leaders. Corruption and robbery has been a main issue with the beaurocrats of Pakistan. Poverty is not decided with how many children u have but with the resources you are availed. After all why are their leaders?? To serve the nation. You got it all wrong.
