   General, the word “secular” is interpreted by extremists to mean “atheistic” (not believing in the existence of Allah), whereas it means (among other things) “tolerant”, “believing that religion is a man’s personal affair”, “all religions are equal”, etc. There are a couple of places in the Holy Koran where Muslims, Christians, Jews and Sabines are treated equally, which shows that Islam is a religion which gives equal rights to people of all religions (and is therefore secular).

   Actions speak louder than words. Him and MQM have done many positive and good things for Karachi.

   I really respect Altaf Hussein, even though I accept that he has some shady past to him. He’s a secular man and I agree with him on his last video conference.

   I want MQM to become more national-based……..rather than focus just on Karachi.

   They should try to create a PTI-ANP-MQM-Pakistan Motherland Party alliance.

   We need secular nationalists in Pakistan. Steer us through these crises. All these mullahs should go to hell. We dont want them.

   most important thing is to do the right thing for one’s country
   the benefits should be for all society, not just for oneself

   remember — Pakistan will flourish when people are united. Leave aside political, religious or ethnic differences.

   Do the right thing for society and for Pakistan. We’re a great nation.

   The people of Karachi make their political party after 30 years of independence, when especially the people of Karachi who have 80% contribution of making and sacrificing for Pakistan brutally killed by agencies, law enforcement , establishment.

   when inequality with people of Karachi and no justice were given , the massacre of Orangi town 1986 more than 1000 people were killed( there was no MQM) quota system 2 % for Karachiites when Karachi generates the revenue of 95 % on that time.

   , just due to ethnicity of the people of Pakistan ( remind you there was no MQM) West Pakistan don’t accept Bangladesh, Pakistan Divided. you dont have the pain bcoz ur family or ancestors dont sacrifice for Pakistan , My grand Dad become Psycho on that time.

   We love Pakistan , because We make Pakistan , still the Democratic Power demand for 1973 Pakistan why they dont want 1947 Pakistan.

   Our ancestors first fight with British, than Hindus at a time more than 100 Ulema Ikram were hanged by british soldiers.

   We have the Pain because our ancestors sister and women were raped by hindus.

   We the people of Karachi bring Islam to Pakistan. culture to Pakistan , the adab the language

   We dont want to divide in party or city we love Pakistan but now we have to start from a city and than the province and than the country.

   and let it be known that I am aware of the good work of Mustafa Kamal (and partly, the MQM)

   why doesnt MQM become a real national party, rather than ethnic/province based? I wonder.

   Karachi Nazim has done many many good things for his city. Why dont we focus on the rest of Pakistan — like FATA and Baluchistan, or even South Punjab and other rural areas of Sindh?

   Hey, buddy…..

   Did i look to you that I was trying to pick a “challenge”….and i dont need a “challenge” from somebody who needs to write in capital letters to make their case heard.

   Quite frankly, you should stop thinking in terms of party politics. MQM, ANP, Jamaat and Shmamaat parties obviously failed.

   They fail every year. There is only one time of the year in Karachi in which it rains hard. And every single year there are huge floods, there are major outages and accidents and what not.

   Why dont these bloody nazims invest in this fine, basic technology called “SEWAGE DRAINING SYSTEM”

   ????

   seems to make sense to me!

   I look forward to the day we stop this whole dirty ‘party politics’ business. I have read about ethnic violence erupting in Karachi. You Karachiites need a good lesson about nationalism and military service.

   A true Pakistani views all people (regardless of province or political beliefs) as his/her own brother.

   p.s. Altaf Hussein is a huge coward

   from last 10-15 days rain and sewerage water is on the main shahraefaisal road on main regent plaza which is under jurisdiction of Cantonment no media is covering or asking the cantonment board that why why why u are not doing any action

    IS THERE ANY PERSON FROM ANP , JAMAT ISSLAMI OR ANY JAAMAAT WHO COME ON ROAD TO HELP PEOPLE STUCK IN THE TIME OF RAIN, WHY THEY ARE NOT CRITISIZING WHEN TRANSPORTER MAAFIA HAVE STOP CDGK BUSES AND WARN THEM TO SHUT THEIR BUSES OTHER WISE , AND LISTEN LT AYUB WE ARE PAKISTANI WE THE KARACHIITES WOULD BE THE ONE WHO WILL STABILIZE THE COUNTRY AND CONQUER THE WHOLLE INDIA …. CHALLENGE
