Calling Off Cricket Series

Rajeev Shukla, a senior official from the Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced what was expected of the coward enemy. India has called off its proposed cricket tour of Pakistan next year amid simmering tension between the nuclear-armed neighbours over last month’s Mumbai attacks.

Since the Mumbai Attacks, India has been pointing fingers at the Pakistan without any logic and without any proof and in its this frenzy it has even gotten to this low point that it has shunned its team to tour Pakistan. Its true that Pakistan is in badly need of some cricket, as it hasn’t played a single test in this calender year, but its also a harm for the cricket for India and the future of cricket in South Asia.

India should try to normalize the relations and it should try to get things calm down. Sports are the way to go for easing the tension, but it seems that India doesn’t want to ease the tension and wants to scream and scream.

Sri Lanka has opted to happily come to Pakistan for the series.

    att Ayush: although Indian troops are killing Muslims and raping Muslim women in Kashmir, we still played cricket with India. No mullah in Pakistan told the Pakistan cricket team not to go to India. Why do Indian Hindus hate Muslims so much? Is it because Muslims ruled over them for a thousand years?

    india too came to play there two times and even when many other countries were ignoring pak. But this time things are diff. Our players are first indian. They dont want to play in a country who is supporting terrorism and training young pakis against India.
    As i told u we would love to watch indo-pak matches.can u play match against someone who is complice in killing ur brothers?answer this and u will get the answer of ur question.

    We are talking to walls. We would keep on talkin as no one else will do it for us. We played in India when our cricketers had death threats. We played in front of largely hostile crowds throwing what not at our players. We even played when the pitch was dug to malign relations between two cricketing nations. They would come up with all the excuses NOT to be rational and trustworthy. Its such a shame that the entire Indian population is held hostage by afew leaders who play not cricket but their own interests. The Indian today are doped with dreams of glory. The west is cajoling them to act out their long history of hatred for Pakistan. The people who had doubts here can now see it clearly how much the want to co exist. Why run to UN for resolution of issues when they have never acted on Kashmir resolution. Does it show double standard or carefully executed conspiracy. Our only guilt is that we have grown weaker. Theres an egyptian proverb “if one cow falls, hindred knives appear” thats what is happening.
    Pakistan bashing is a fad now. One thing assured, their time is near as well.

    i have read this in many place that it took “3 days ” to kill those terrorists..
    1. The terrorist were well armed ,equipped,trained like a millitary personal.
    2.They knew the map of places they attacked.
    3.The hostage situation was there at 5 places.4 hotels and 1 jew center.
    4.Each hotel has 300-500 rooms.
    5.many rooms were closed frm inside either by guests or by terrorist.
    6.To clear each room would have taken at least 15 min.
    7.it was not easy to differentiate betn a terrorist and a guest .
    8. The priority was to “save people” and to capture those terrorist “alive”.
    9. The final battle took place in Taj(old). Its not like a modern hotel but and 1900’s design. With whole design like a maze and many thing made of wood .
    10. Even British agencies told such kind of terrorism could not have been tackled by SAS in less than 48 hrs when around 600 people are there as hostage.

    At least u r accepting him to be a paki.Zardari told BBC recently in an interview that there was “no proof” of the jailed terrorist being a pak citizen.
    Secondly, There are pics of M. Ajmal kasab carrying a gun.His father in pak recognised him because of these pics.
    M. Ajmal kasab told the name and address of other nine terrorist who are citizen of pak.He also requested pak to accept their dead bodies as they cannot be buried here in india because of protest by Indian Muslims.
    Ur leader also accepted the fact that there was “a link” between ISI AND LeT when pak was ruled by millitary.
    U may see confession by ur leaders 10 yrs. Later as it happed for kargil war.
    Every country in the world is pointing finger at pak still u believe every thing is right in pak and this in an attack on ISLAMIC country!
    Its time to see out of the well.The very fact that Pak supported taliban govt in afganistan and now is fighting with them on its own land.dont just believe anything and have the courage to swallow bitter pills..

    att: Ayush, even your minister A.R. Antulay has cast doubts over the Mumbai incident. Kasab (the guy shown on TV) is no doubt a Pakistani, but he is not the terrorist who killed people at the railway station or the hospital. That guy was someone else, and is being protected by your intelligence agencies. Kasab was probably caught near the border and has been drugged and brainwashed to say that he is the killer and was trained in terrorist camps in Pakistan. Just think: how were ten terrorists able to fight top Indian commandos for three days?

    kargil war was an example of pakistan cowardness.!
    How can u imagine that India can play match with pak knwing the fact that there r people in ur country supported by ISI who r being trained to attack on India.
    I m a great fan of many pak cricketers (my fav. Pak cricketer :Mibah-ul-haq) and would love to see them playing in IPL but its just bcos of ur country attitute towards terrorism we will not be able to watch cricket betn two nations.
    I never saw anyone commenting on Kasab who is caught and has admitted that he belong to pak.Even pak media admitted it.No one here is writing abt him.
    Till people like him are there in ur country no cricket can be played betn two nations.
