MNA’s from tribal agencies had alleged before the presidential election that if the operations conducted in tribal agencies are not halted, they will not vote for Asif Zardari in the presidential election. With regards to these statements it was observed that operations were ceased in Bajaur, Swat and other tribal agencies. And with this residents of these areas started to go back to there homes and districts.
I had mentioned in one of my previous posts that one cannot trust Zardari for his both, recent past and previous records bequeath an impression that he is not a man who implements what he says. I also had raised suspicions over his stance of commencing the operation again after winning the election. And now the recent development magnifies what many analysts were skeptical about. The operation began just the day when President Zardari was taking oath. The magnanimous devastation caused by theses operations is weakening the state’s structure once again. Why is PPP following the same course which clearly aims at damaging and blemishing the trust of people in Pakistan? why?
