Azam Khan Swati resigns from Senate, quits JUI-F

Azam Khan Swati, a JUI-F Senator, has announced that he has resigned from Senate and also left his party.

He said his reasons for resigning from Senate include the hike in corruption, inflation and other crises in Pakistan. However, Mr. Swati has not explained how come he got this realization when his term in Senate is going to end in three months?

Azam Khan Swati was member of Senate from 2006 and his term was going to expire in March 2012. He was lately in the news for his tussle with Hamid Saeed Kazmi, former Minister for Religious Affairs, who is now in jail for alleged corruption in Hajj affairs.

So, is Azam Khan Swati joining PTI? Another clean member for the squad?
