Will This Muslim Girl Be Allowed To Live After Changing Religion?

Rifqa Bary

A 17 year old Muslim girl (Rifqa Bary) has converted to Christianity in Ohio, U.S. According to CNN, the girl (who was earlier reported missing) was found in Florida, living in the home of the Rev Blake Lorenz of the Global Revolution Church in Orlando. Rifqa Bary quoted her father as saying “you are dead to me and I will kill you.” But her father (Muhammad Bary) denied this and said that he had no problem with his daughter practicing any faith (although he would have preferred her to be a Muslim). Rifqa’s attorney John Stemberger is convinced that Islamic radicals would kill her if she returned to Ohio.

So will Rifqa be allowed to live?

Or will she be killed by those who think that she deserves to die?

Just wondering if this Yusha is the same guy who wrote the article http://www.chowrangi.com/why-i-blog-at-chowrangi.html

    I quote:

My favorites include Ambreen, Momina and Hina Safdar. It is good to see them doing an excellent job, creating interest among readers and making a difference.

Has he got the tendency to bite his “favorites”?

Yes brother Faraz you are right and that point has already been made by sister Naureen.

As for YUsha, there are a lot of great terms that I can use for your people, But then that would end the difference between the rotten upbringing you have had and the Islamic upbringing that I have had, alhumdulillah.

Ask Shakir Lakhani if I ever said that he is a non-Muslim. But you would have to form a sentence for that…difficult task.

Don’t use dialogues taht are usually used by infidels. People like you are used to those women who love to flaunt themselves…who talk about how unfair everything is for a woman…how a woman is supposed to cover herself and not roam around naked….it is not your fault that when you come across a Muslimah who strives to abide by Allah’s Laws you feel she cannot be belonging to the female gender.

Now, go find somewhere else to abuse.
Lol…and i guess your assuming habit is going strong…tribal?
    Grow up, kiddo!

@Momina: Do you know Allah sent a lot of Muslims to hell because of their arrogance who thought they were religious? Who are you to say whether Shakir (or anyone) is a Muslim or not. Only Allah SWT knows the truth and only he is the judge. Don’t try and be Allah, you foolish, immature, backward tribal woman. And stop parroting what some mullah tell you. Those dogs are women haters. Maybe you are a mullah too, pretending to be a woman. That is why you write whatever garbage comes inside your head.

On the point of apostasy, it is none of anyone’s business. Religion is a personal choice.

Faraz: You are the first person who has started to make some sense, although even you are wrong. The punishment can only apply in a purely Islamic state, and even they will require 4 witnesses, which is impossible to produce, unless someone deliberately has sex in front of 4 people.

I should mention that any kind of punishment prescribed by the shariah falls under the jurisdiction of Islamic courts and can only be implemented by them.

Individuals or groups are not allowed to carry out punishments on their own, regardless of how knowledgeable or pious they are.

Since no Islamic courts exist in US, it is a moot point to argue what punishment she would receive.

    @SL
When you ‘searched’ the entire Quran as you claim, yes, there is no verse dictating the punishment for apostasy. But did you come across the verse, “Obey Allah and obey the Messenger..”.

This verse is in surah noor, maidah, Nisa, Muhammad, and at-taghabun. The fact that it occurs so many times shows its importance. So it’s established that we have to obey Allah and the Prophet. How does one obey the Prophet if we disregard hadith? We can’t.

Therefore to say that hadith cannot be used as a source of legislation is going against the Quran itself. It is an argument often used by orientalists and those without sufficient knowledge.

One simple way to refute those who don’t use hadith for ruling: how do you pray? It doesn’t tell you in the Quran how to pray or how many times to pray.

    Hmm…quite a comic comment :D.

Anyway, in Islam the death penalty is for adulterers not fornicators.
