Petition against Pak Suzuki Motor Company

Pak Suzuki Motor has been spewing out vehicles in Pakistan for almost 25 years now. This post speaks out on the behalf of those people who are the victim of low quality production and highly un-user friendly approach of this plant.

The end-product a customer gets from this plant after a painfully lengthy period is simple a heap of bland garbage. For instance I recently got my Mehran Suzuki Car from a local dealer in Rawalpindi almost 2 months ago and still hasn’t been able to experience the smooth functioning of vehicle. There were many manufacturing faults in it from the outset. Major manufacturing faults were faulty hand brake, loose doors, substandard rubbers, dried up bushes, ill-fitted window glasses. The Rs. 350000+ vehicle hadn’t even got simple cheap things like mud flaps, seat covers, and other small things. Automobile mechanics themselves advice that one has to replace many parts of a new vehicle in order to get some sort of relief.

This state of affair is absolutely unacceptable. If you share the pain, frustration and humiliation, then please join hands to protest against this high-handedness of Pak Suzuki Motors Company by signing the following petition:

Petition against Pak Suzuki Motor Company

regards.

bought a mehran VX in 2007, new. lights werent working, loose connections/ disconnected wires, paint chip, (fixed, car had PDI sticker)as soon as i left the show room and came on the road, car started snaking on the road, very disturbing. turned round and took it back, turned out rear suspension mountings were loose, nuts tightened. whole car vibrated and rattled, was told by showroom staff—its a suzuki, thats how they come, samad bond stains on the bar above sun shades, —-was told to ignore it. generally qality of fit and finish is so poor, rear seat wont lock(still dosnt) whole car rattles, poor gear shift, very poor brakes, very expensive price.
on the plus side, i have had trouble free motoring, no engine problems or suspension problems, has never stood me up on the road. maintainence and CNG milage is cheap.

Its very true that Suzuki cars are very sub standard in Pakistan. Specially Mehran and Alto. I have bought new Alto VXR but have problems like high noise of AC compressor, gear box and exhaust pipe.
PRICES ARE ON HIGHER SIDE AND LUXURY ZEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERO

I also support the petition, though it is hardly four days that I have purchased a brand new Alto VXR and several problems have begun to pop up. 1. Noisy at 60 RPM, 2. Finishing not good. 3.Gears moving not smoothly.

But we need not to cry over spilled milk as we have the bear the burnt of buying it. Ours is the land where all it happens.

Neither to change nor falter to repent,
This is like glory Titan is o be.

    Dear All,

Every one is blaming only Suzuki not our govt. except one of our brother. Actually Suzuki Company is taking only 200000 if a car cost is 500000. All other amount goes to 250% tax. Then how can company give you a good car in 200000. I also don’t like Suzuki company’s cars so I bought a Charade and sell it out in loss. Why? The problem is that only our so called mechanics increase or decrease value of a car. No one is professional. All mechanics are gifted. So they don’t know how to fix or even trace a fault of Charade, Vitz etc. So you will see every mechanic will say don’t buy Charade, Vitz, Mira, Japnese Alto etc coz they don’t know how to open these things. Every mechanic says only buy mehran not even baleno or liana. And every one says that Suzuki parts are cheap. Its only Suzuki Bolan and Mehran’s parts are cheap not every suzuki car. So Suzuki company has its monoply and we are bearing it. Although if you buy any other car like Vitz, its japnese and even you don’t have to bother to go to mechanics frequently. “So Sasta roye baar wali baat hai bhai”. So one petition should also be for govt. But if govt reduce the tax what will happen on the roads. So our govt. should work on our transport system e.g. trains, Buses and improve these.

Sir with all due respect, shouldnt u notice all these flaws before purchasing the vehicle?????

and why in Pakistan we dont have a cerified vehicles program whereby cars can be properly inspected and proper ”bills of health” being issued

I bought a cultus VXr in 2005 with a lot of issues.
    1. The front door windows were very stiff to operate up and down.
    2. A 2 inch paint drop mark next to the attena on the roof.
    3. Black paint marks on the rear side window.
    4. The bonnet did not line up correctly with headlights.

If we talk about the Suzuki in Pakistan, people are getting garbage even after paying 12 lacs for Liana….
come toward Mehran, it cost around 550,000 what a joke ??? Mehran having no mud flappers, no good tyres, loose doors and brakes are useless. Mehran went abselite if we go in international market and Bloody shits Suzuki Pakistan are still making it.
Now come toward Cultus, its original name is Swift and still we were not getting the real updated Swift but now getting swift but old swift is still there which is having all sorts of Brake issue and engine has been given in the car again under power……

cut short, We are just a bunch craps, which are being fooled by these bloody idiotic companies like Suzuki and Toyota, which are highly supported by corrupt Govt of Pakistan

I bought brand new CNG fitted Suzuki Liana and paid PKR: 26,000.- more to get the car from showroom in 2006. The car is still with me but it carries a huge maintinance cost as compare to Corolla/Honda. The spare parts are too much expensive.I realized that I have taken a wrong decision. I should go for Corolla instead of Suzuki Liana. Only original oil filter cost mre than PKR: 800.-Air filter/spark plug/fuel filter cost is too high as compare to Corolla/honad of 1300CC. I have to pay PKR: 40,000.- to change original Clutch Plate with pressure plate and clutch bearing. My car is still like brand new BUT IT IS REALLY TOO EXPENSIVE TOO MAINTAIN LIANA WITH ORIGINAL PARTS. I am an engineer and General Manager in a comany. I will sale my Liana and will buy Corolla soon. No boubt my Liana is as good as New and just completed 47000.-KM since 2006 to till date.
