Petition against Pak Suzuki Motor Company

Pak Suzuki Motor has been spewing out vehicles in Pakistan for almost 25 years now. This post speaks out on the behalf of those people who are the victim of low quality production and highly un-user friendly approach of this plant.

The end-product a customer gets from this plant after a painfully lengthy period is simple a heap of bland garbage. For instance I recently got my Mehran Suzuki Car from a local dealer in Rawalpindi almost 2 months ago and still hasn’t been able to experience the smooth functioning of vehicle. There were many manufacturing faults in it from the outset. Major manufacturing faults were faulty hand brake, loose doors, substandard rubbers, dried up bushes, ill-fitted window glasses. The Rs. 350000+ vehicle hadn’t even got simple cheap things like mud flaps, seat covers, and other small things. Automobile mechanics themselves advice that one has to replace many parts of a new vehicle in order to get some sort of relief.

This state of affair is absolutely unacceptable. If you share the pain, frustration and humiliation, then please join hands to protest against this high-handedness of Pak Suzuki Motors Company by signing the following petition:

    Dear All,

I think it is not good to criticize so much. Pak suzuki has been providing quality based cars to Pakistani citizens for so long, which can be seen also on the streets. In fact Pak Suzuki also won Brands of the Year Award for 4 consecutive years. This was only possible because of the superb quality excellent after sales service which is in comparison to non-other.
I think as a nation we have lost the ability to appreciate and all the time we keep criticizing. Grow up people and learn to admire what you have!

PAKSUZUKI IS THE ONLY AUTOMOTIVE COMPANY IN THE WORLD WHICH STILL PRODUCES “CARBURETOR” BASED CARDS.

Cultus is out of production everywhere in the world expecpt Pakistan. (yes, even african countries)

Liana is sold in Pakistan only.(all other countries moved to SX4 several years back, including India and African countries.)

The pakistani ALTO uses a early 1980s engine not used anywhere else in the world. Sj410

The Bolan/Ravi cars are based on late 1970s platform. (suzuki carry / bedford rascal)

Lets all pray to God that PakSuzuki’s monopoly will end in the future, and we will have a competitive auto industry.

I fully subscribe your views about the products Pak Suzuki. I had bought Mehran in 2001. The car caught fire at 5 in the morning while it wsas parked in garage. Luckily I was awake as it was Ramzan and I had just finished my Sehri. I saw the flames when peeped outside the door where car was parked. I called the company people. So many of them came along with some Japanese. But they did nothing anf I had suffered huge loss in terms of money beside mental agony, torture. Luckily I had escaped the disaster of destruction of the house which the blast could have caused if I were not awake. Some preople on anonymity told me that the company is using substandard wiring supplied by some company from Bhawalpur. Can some take action against the company and ensure compensation to the the customer.

whatever my brothers explained in their comments are absolutely right. i went several times to Tayyab motors but they didn’t treat me well though i have purchased cars from them a few times. so suzuki Japan must think about the corrupt suzuki authorizers in Pakistan because they have devalued suzuki company in Pakistan. i will say that suzuki Japan must close thier suzuki company in pakistan

    Dear Engr. Qasim,

By using such kind of lauguage, you only degrade yourself. It doesn’t effect any one else.

I suggest you invest your Halal kamai in some other brand, which is as per your standards.

    Regards,

    Dear Ihtesham,

Thankyou for your mail, but I think you need to study further. All the local parts used are as per standards and specifications certified by Suzuki Japan. Before sourcing these parts to local vendors we always follow very strict procedures to make sure that the parts are upto the standard and are not faulty.

So I am sorry to say this but I feel your case is an exception.

Not only relaying on comments posted here i personally inspected the cultus vxli at suzuki dealers in lahore.
after paying mine costly time to visiting A BULLSHIT MADE BY SUZUKI i thanked the God to save mine HALLAL KAMAI.
Its mine personnel opinion which i established by opinions of different effecties of PAK SUZUKI BUUL SHIT MOTORS that any kind of product made by your company should not be allowed to drive on roads.

    Dear Mr. Wahab Khan,

I did not buy a refurbished unit…I bought a brand new PakSuzuki zero meter car with the invoice on my name (booked from PakSuzuki motor co ltd with payment in favor) from an authorized PAK SUZUKI dealer.

I appreciate your response but I always thoroughly research and inspect before purchasing a car check production dates before purchasing a car (I am not so foolish)…..furthermore I have the warranty card and purchase invoice as a proof.

And for your information Mr. Wahab, official Suzuki 3S service personnel themselves told me that Alto is know to be defective so you have ignore the various problems that arrive. Especially, I was told the locally assembled components are the ones that develop the faults frequently.

If you visit Pakwheels.com you will understand the complains being faced by PakSuzuki customer and almost no one is satisfied…..
I am not against local assembling, in fact I support the whole concept and would like to see locally manufactured 100% Pakistani cars and not just locally assembled cars where the profits are repatriated to Japan .(such as by indus, paksuzki and atlas).

The problem is the lack of features/outdated technology, substandard production quality and not the LOCATION of Assembly.

This is simply a question of personal ethics, for once lets think about the Pakistani people and not defending a company’s name.

One has to step up and draw the line between right and wrong….and in this particular situation everyone knows that PakSuzuki cars and substandard….So lets begin by accepting the facts and move towards improvement instead if making excuses to justify mistakes.

    Dear Wahab khan,

I am planning to buy Suzuki Cultus VXLI. Before purchasing kindly clear the following points as I am confused to decide.

    1) There are two version 3 cyl (1.0 lit) and 4 cyl (1.3 lit).

    2) The G10 is an inline 3 cylinder engine. The G10 has 1.0 liter of displacement and is equipped with either a carburetor or electronic fuel injection and has an optional turbocharger. It has a single overhead camshaft driving six valves.

    3) G series engine has six or eight valves hence OHC. This engine has 16 valves suggesting what DOHC?

    4) The Engine is surely not F10A.

    What I understand is…

G10 came in only inline-3 SOHC with EFI and Carb.
In G13 only G13B was inline-4 DOHC with EFI and Carb

Is G10B of Cultus is modified to G13B.
    OR
How can there be Two Engines with the Same Code.

    Waiting for your kind response.

    Best Regards,

    Muhammad Saddique Sadiq
