Petition against Pak Suzuki Motor Company

Pak Suzuki Motor has been spewing out vehicles in Pakistan for almost 25 years now. This post speaks out on the behalf of those people who are the victim of low quality production and highly un-user friendly approach of this plant.

The end-product a customer gets from this plant after a painfully lengthy period is simple a heap of bland garbage. For instance I recently got my Mehran Suzuki Car from a local dealer in Rawalpindi almost 2 months ago and still hasn’t been able to experience the smooth functioning of vehicle. There were many manufacturing faults in it from the outset. Major manufacturing faults were faulty hand brake, loose doors, substandard rubbers, dried up bushes, ill-fitted window glasses. The Rs. 350000+ vehicle hadn’t even got simple cheap things like mud flaps, seat covers, and other small things. Automobile mechanics themselves advice that one has to replace many parts of a new vehicle in order to get some sort of relief.

This state of affair is absolutely unacceptable. If you share the pain, frustration and humiliation, then please join hands to protest against this high-handedness of Pak Suzuki Motors Company by signing the following petition:

    Dear Ihtesham,

I’m afraid the car you’ve brought is not 100% brand new, but a refurbished and repainted car. I feel sorry for customers like you who get robbed off by very clever dealers in the market.

You should therefore very carefully next time before going for a purchase.

    Regards,

    Wahan

    Dear Suzuki Hater,

I’m sorry I cannot agree with your points.

We at Pak Suzuki invite Japanese engineers every Quarter to inspect our production line and check the quality thoroughly. Only after passing very stringent tests and standards the Pak Suzuki car is being passed on to the dealers and showrooms.

    Please check in more detail.

    Regards,

    Wahan.

    Dear Umar,

I’m sorry I don’t understand your point. As per our market survey result Pak Suzuki was the Top Brand for 2006, 2007 and 2008.

We had very satisfied customers to date. Did you purchase a refurbished or used car? I think that is the reason for your complain. We at Pak Suzuki have very strict procedures to maintain quality

I’m sorry I cannot agree with any of your complains.

    Regards,

    Wahab.

I feel very sad too see the built quality of your Suzuki crap. You people are disgracing the name of Suzuki’s all over the world.Japanese put their heart and soul in their cars to make their car better and relaible, unlike you guys…I know that you guys are making lots of profit by using cheap quality parts and low built quality e.t.c.Because most of the people are illiterate here in Pakistan so they are not well aware of what you guys are making and what Japanese are making.you cannot improve its quality and you know it.

I think you guys don’t know the value of LIFE.You guys don’t know what is safety, you guys don’t worry for anyone’s life,PSM cars dont know what is grip or braking, the body is made of tin cans.if the body is from tin cans you couldn’t improved their braking\grip.but no PSM knows how to fool Pakistani illiterate awam.

I feel very sad to see that PSM is making maximum money, even those who work in PSM hate their cars.and drive JDM cars.but you guys forgot that Allah is watching us ALL..you can play tricks here and you have to pay here in this world.

    Thanks.

    Hi Everyone,

I got a Suzuki Alto 2008 last year the car being the first locally assembled car I purchased I was shocked to see the extremely poor quality controls in place at PakSuzuki.

These are the faults I have faced till now:-

1)The Generator developed a serious fault at 1500kms and Suzuki 3s workshop refused to fix it on warranty and asked for money instead.

2)The rear doors cannot simply close until you slam them hard.

3)Front left door lock developed a fault at around only 14000 kms, the front right developed lock went faulty as well at 16000 kms.

4)The vents of the car were “FAULTY” by default and I had to get them fixed. Wipers did not work and the CNG kit was not configured properly(yes all this in a new car !!!)

5)The clutch and break paddles started making noises.

6)Extremely poor breaks. Will not stop properly until if you are not below 70kmph.

I believe the Pak-Suzuki at large is compromising on security and quality to an unbelievable extent and deceiving the public. My advice to anyone considering to purchase this car is to plzzz dont!!!!

Go for some other option like Chevrolet Joy or Vitz if you want a comfortable driving experience. The current Pakistani Suzuki alto uses a 1982 SJ410 engine which is not being used anywhere in the world except Pakistan for several years now.(the engine does not meet even the basic international emission standards )

    Regards,
    Ihtesham
