Peer-e-Kamil

A very dear friend of me referred me Peer-e-kamil as life changing book and before even going through the whole asset of the book, I realized that it is, and it was a master piece from Umera Ahmed.

Some of her passage in her own words, selected for Chowrangi readers in roman Urdu here.

“Zindagi mein ham kabi na kabi os maqam per aajatey hein jahan saarey rishtey khatam ho jate hein.Vahan sirf ham hotey hein aur Allah hota ha. Koi maan baap,behan bahi,koi dost nahi hota. Phir hamein pata chalta ha ke hamarey pairoon ke neechey zameen ha na hamarey sir ke oper koi aasmaan,bus sirf aik Allah ha jo hamein is khala mein bhe thamey hoye ha. Phir pata chalta ha ham zameen per parii mattii ke dher mein aik zarey ya dharakht per lagey hove aik patey se zada ke voqat nahi rakhtey . Phir pata chlata ha ke hamarey honey ya na honey se sirf hamein he fark parta ha. Sirf hamara kirdaar khatam ho jata. Kaenaat mein koi tablie nahi aatii,kissi cheez per koi asar nahi perta.”

” Har aik ko bikhari bana kar rastay me bithaya hua hay,
aur har aik khud ko malik samjhta hay.jab tak thokar nahi lagti,
jab tak ghutnoon par nahi girta apni aukaat ka pata hi nahi chaltaa.
wojood kay naseeb main hay bikhari hona bus Zaat bikhari nahi ho sakti. Wojood kay muqadar me mangana hay Zaat ka wasaf daina hay.
Main to kia BB! sab bikhari hain. Aj nahi to Kal, Kal nahi to parson
kabhi na kabhi bikhari banna hi parta hay.Mangana hi hota hay.
Koi Ishq mangata hay koi Duniya or jo yeh nahi mangta woh
Khuahish Ka Khatam hona mangata hay.”

About the author Umera Ahmed, she completed her masters in english from Marey College Sialkot and now linked with Army Public College. Her creative work starts with digests on women. Her play “ La Hasil” been telecasted on TV and FM as well, several other plays under process.

    Peer-e-Kamil, ek muqamal kitaab.
    bhatkey huyoo ko rah dikhati hain. Jo apni zindagiyo sey pareshan hain is kitaab ko parhey
    aur iska moral samjhey. aap ko apni manzil samjh aajayegi

    Really Madam Umera is like a soul teacher and as respectfull as any Moulana sahab.

    Comming to point after salutation, the facts shown in the book were heart & soul shaking. Many among us dont think about this and commig life but only consider it as to have the luxeries and to relax after workiing hard for gathering these luxeries. The only right path starts from ALLAH (subhana wat aala) and ends at his beloved last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (salalaho alaihe wasalam). Not as many words in mind to give the compliments.

    Madam, “May ALLAH keep you blessed and intact with same faith Lightening & exploring efforts”.

    zindgai main parhi hui kitabon main say aik behtareen kitab jisy parh ker wakai kuch sabak seekhny ko mila. we raelly appericiate u Umera baji.we both r ur fanz.apki aik kitab perhny k baad hum apki baki kitabon ko perhny k khuhishmand hain. wish u best of luck always.

    UMERA AHMED is infact a key for me to change,,i was also taking life so carelessly but it completely changed me,my innerself,my outerself,my thoughts,my heart,.PEER E KAMIL is really a masterpeice.despite all this there are so many faults in your writing as when you starts on a thing at some places, a discussion or hero”s thoughts,you kade these so long,so long dialogues that a reader got rid of that.some time a meaningful dialogues starts but it starts converted into meaningless thing.
    but i like one thing….Most of the writers have used a phrase”uss ke paaon(feet) taley se zameen nikalney lagee”that is just an idiomatic phrase i think,But you have proved it a fact at one page that you wrote”uss ke paon taley se zameen mahawaratan nahin balke haqeeqtan nikalney lagee thee”. superb….keep continue MADAM,YOU are my soul-teacher and i will always pray to ALLAH for your more success………

    From the very beginning till the very end, great book. For the youth to change the way they think about the true meanings of life. Though fiction, can touch the heart of anyone who regard reality as just the routine or live their life as a ritual. Life is to live according to what deem you right, not what the system deem it right. God has given us the ability to differentiate between right and wrong. And when we are given the option, we have to choose wisely, we won’t be given chances too many times.
    May God shows everyone the right path that leads to the reality. (Ameen)

    A salesperson at Liberty books recommended it to me and it looked promising. although i still haven’t found to read it…. maybe now i will.
