The notion of surgical strikes against terrorist training camps in Pakistan by the India is not only preposterous, its also very dangerous and could trigger a full blown nuclear encounter between the arch-rivals which wouldn’t spare anyone.
Pakistan is already going over board to combat terrorism and following a very calculated, rational approach to eliminate the scrooge of terrorism and needs every help from the world. But this is not the time to twist the arms of Pakistan which is already experiencing lots of other crisis and hardships.
Pakistan, over the years has done a lot in regard of galvanizing international opinion for effective action against terrorism, but it is said to see that India is persisting with diplomatic pressure on Pakistan, without any concrete proof. If suppose the attackers came from the Pakistan, then how does it justified a war between the two countries.
Especially when Pakistan has promptly banned Jamat ud Dawa and other charity organizations as United Nation’s security council passed the resolution in this regard, but India wants to exploit this situation to gain supremacy in the region. Its pure greed and nothing else. India can achieve much by sharing evidence of the Lashkar-e-Taiba’s role in the Mumbai attacks with Pakistan, and acting honestly to defuse suspicions about its covert operations in Balochistan and Afghanistan.
