What is truth? Every one seems to be in search of an answer to this question.
At one particular time, scholars of the world were divided in two groups on the answer to this question. One group believed that truth is what is conveyed by senses whereas the other was of the opinion that truth is what intellect passes on. Both groups were having weighty arguments for and against these hypotheses. Yet another group came up on the basis of these two divergent views. Neither senses nor intellect can be trusted hence there is no truth. Everything is uncertain, virtual, they viewed.
Pairo was also one of the proponents of the new school of thought. His pupils did not even mourn when Pairo died; none participated in his funeral. Criticised on their coldness and detachment, pupils argued, “Everything is so uncertain in this world so how we believe our mentor is dead.â€
