Clashes in PPP

The strife and contention over the slot of Pakistan People’s Party is now public and everybody knows about it, making the things more ugly, nasty and difficult for the co-chairman of PPP Asif Ali Zardari.

When the media noticed that the four aspirants for the premier position in Pakistan from PPP were absent from the Murree meeting between Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari, rumours started circulating. Now Chaudhary Ahmad Mukhtar from Gujrat, Punjab and Makhdoom Amin Fahim are publicly fighting for the nomination though both are keeping some lids on the boiling storm.

Asif Ali Zardar is himself distancing from Makhdoom Amin Fahim, when he learnt of his links and connections with the President House. Asif Ali Zardari answered a question at the news conference in Bhurban, Murree that Makhdoom Amin Fahim could not attend the meeting because of his pre-occupation in Islamabad. But Mr Fahim told reporters in Islamabad that he had not been invited and that he had no engagements in the capital to stop him from going to Murree.

“I am a Faqeer, I do not go for prayers without Azan,” That is what was said by Makhdoom Sahib. Whereas Chaudhary Ahmed Mukhtar is certain that he would be the nominee for the office of Prime Minister from PPP.
