Are We That Foolish?

Mohtarma Baynazir Bhutto, the chair-person of People’s Party, sitting snugly in London, has called for a nation-wide strike on 26th March to protest over the issue of CJP. She has “earnestly” appealed to the people to come to the roads and protest. She is so “concerned” about the current situation of country, she wants public to agitate and raise the hell.

What happens if I answer this call and go to roads and join people like me? I will be chased and beaten brutally with batons and the butts of rifles by police. I will be arrested and charged with myriad number of cases. I will be insulted publicly and if I would be in luck after giving some bribe, I will be back to my home battered and bruised. Otherwise I would be in jail for Allah knows how much time leaving my whole family suffering. And to think of it, all for nothing cause.

Are we that foolish? She and her family are in London, America and UAE enjoying their lives in sheer luxury and he wants us to agitate for nothing. Why should we fight for her prime-minister ship? I appeal to my fellow countrymen to not to answer the strike-call for anyone, even if it comes from our government. Strikes only harm the country. They cause huge monetary damage to overall economy and if strikes become violent, they only result in the ransom and damage of public property.
