A usual statement being used in Pakistan for defining the purpose of creation of the state has been narrated on the basis of an ideological state for the Muslims of subcontinent to live according to their religion and norms of life, but an observation establishes that this argument has been the vaguest one, since both parts of the statement have never been implemented by any regime in its true sprit. Nor did Pakistan succeed to be an ideological state neither it achieved freedom for its people to follow their religion according to their norms. Religion never played part of private life but remained as one to create divisions within divisions and so on. Religion could not strengthen Pakistan as a Muslim state but contributed to gain disrespect in the world for its extremist altitude.
United States of America has a history when it passed a declaration of independence during the civil war defining the immediate purpose of independence. Unlike Pakistan who fought for division of subcontinent without any clear destiny designed ahead. It would be wrong to state that it lacked guidelines but it won’t be an aggregation that no government played any role to highlight the ambitions for a developed and stable Pakistan.
No nation maintains a history without ups and downs in a newly created state and similarly it can never justify the cause for not defining form of government for that reason. It has been an utmost significant ado of every country to hold elections immediately after independence, defining the form of government. This enables the country to implement the law at first place making it above all. Unfortunately Pakistan since its creation has lacked to empower the basic pillars at first place. Not only this mishap happened after independence but the same mistake was repeated after 1971 when both wings of Pakistan were divided. We must learn from our mistakes and must not work towards altering the reason of independence.
