Homes of MQM chief Altaf Hussain and party workers raided by London Metropolitan Police

The homes of MQM party members including its chief (Quaid-e-Tehreek) Altaf Hussain were raided by London Metropolitan Police. According to reports, the properties were searched for more than 55 hours and important evidence related to the assassination of Dr. Imran Farooq was found. There are also some unverified reports that evidence related to huge money laundering transactions was also retrieved from the said premises.

According to Express News, London Metropolitan Police raided at least two houses in London, one at Edgware Road and other in North London, and conducted a search operation which lasted for more than 55 hours. One of the houses belongs to MQM chief Altaf Hussain.

The raids were part of the investigation of Dr. Imran Farooq murder case as well as huge money laundering performed during 2001 and 2005 from a bank in England.

In the UK, money laundering is more lethal offense than murder. Punishment for money laundering is up to years.

    Nothing is going to be happen to Altaf Hussain and his workers, they have a great hold. Indeed in the UK, money laundering is more lethal offense than murder but in this case i don’t think that something new will come in front.
