Girls Cell Phone Numbers on Facebook

In this day and age, with predators lurking everywhere, it is very dangerous to leave cell phone numbers anywhere on the internet, and the most common place where predators look for girls cell phone numbers is social networking websites, the most common being Facebook.

Girls are naive and should realize the dangers that exist of leaving personal information on Facebook. It is very easy for anyone to get access to girls contact information, especially cell phone numbers, if girls leave it carelessly on Facebook.

There are so many times when I have read stories of young girls being raped after they were contacted on Facebook by deranged men who pretended to be nice and sweet, and the result was horrendous. Girls need to know they should not become victims.

Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg is already pushing for the law to allow children under 13 to use Facebook. This is disturbing. What is more disturbing is the fact that predators are always lurking out there, and girls are not aware, or do not want to be aware.

A lot of times girls meet strangers in chat rooms and give personal information and end up becoming victims. Even in internet cafes, girls who have logged into an account, any account, should double check that they are logged out.

There is already a craze for girls cell phone numbers and nothing can make it easier for men to gain access to these numbers than girls leaving it on Facebook.

Girls are requested to remove their cell phone numbers from Facebook.

While I understand that you want to protect the girls on Facebook, isn’t saying that there is a Craze for this type of thing going over the top? I’m all for security when it comes to children’s cell phone numbers – hey I wish we could have a world where they didn’t have them at all, but we have to face the reality. Education is the only way to do this. Scaremongering is the dare that they’ll try to seek a thrill from on their next Facebook comment.
